That's wonderful news! :)

UGH! I feel for you. How many feet do you have now? It is to cold to melt.

Still 4', with another 4" (of very light snow). It's been too cold to melt all that snow or any of it. :(
It did eventually stop snowing this AM.

Still trying to catch up from the last two days, but I think my eyes need a longer "timeout" from this computer.
Two different times while reading posts that mention LDS,....I read it as LSD. Then I just read YESorNO's post and THOUGHT it said:
Mesa Det. Smith- that's if Lawrence is finished with DECOMPOSING him? :giggle:

I think maybe I need JA's help learning to read, you know ~ how she always tried to help, encourage, demand that her own mom read some damn books to "better" herself. She was also very helpful with her aging grandparents who she lived with for free...NOOO not by helping to clean their house, run errands or make their meals. But more importantly, correcting their grammar.

BBM Don't you just hate people who correct your grammar. It ain't nice.

Just had to walk away from this yesterday afternoon....bleck.........then, for the first time, I had "intrusive dreams" about all this goggledy gook...........gah! At least there's a 3 day break.

Very telling: The usual MSM tweeters were not around yesterday, I guess they have lost interest in anything that Nurmi wants to throw at the wall. One or 2 being MIA is one thing if there's breaking news locally, but HLN's regular wasn't even around, Carolyn Sung. NG is dead in the water. It looks like Juan is the media draw with most of the prosecution witnesses, not CMJA, not Nurmi or Wilmont, and I kinda wonder if it will continue to tank with Dr.s G and F re-take the stand.

At this point, the only things I want to see are the closings and the verdict. Everything else, unless they pull a 2 headed purple rabbit out of a hat, is just re-hash or non-mitigators. Sur-surrebutal? I don't even know if I care.:scared:

From what I could find, the post that Witness #1, Marc McGee entitled "Time to Vent", court sealed, etc, etc., is that it was originally posted on a private support CMJA FB site 4 days before Deanna Reid's testimony back in April of 2013 per the blog and comments on Court Chatter: http://www.courtchatter.com/2015/02/jodi-arias-document-placed-under-seal.html?spref=tw Also noted is it's stated in the comments that Marc McGee is divorced. Funny he claims to be "all that" with his belief in LDS teachings to criticize Deanna, when divorce is one of those things STILL frowned on by the church. "He who is without sin", as the saying goes. <---- I'm agnostic for the most part, so I can say those things, LOL! *Ok, Marcsecretwitness#1fromnewzealandallovertheinternet, put your big boy pants on and do mano a mano with Mr. Maritnez or iz you skeered of da big bad prosecutor?*
I just have an inkling that ol' Marc has some "issues" that would be pretty apparent if he "verbalized", via video, about anything. Not "assuming" anything, but if it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, walks like a duck........maybe he's playing for the other team, and I don't mean the CMJA team. *wink, wink* JMO as in Just My Observation. My "duck detector" is pretty darn reliable.

Will check in occasionally over the next 3 days, but for the most part, I'm just going to chill with my critters.

Life is too short!

*oh no, the interwebz grammar police are on patrol!!!! * :floorlaugh*

Paul Sanders court summary from yesterday regarding Jodi wearing purple for DV:

The purple sweater was a lie for all to see. It will have angered those on the jury who have first-hand experience with domestic violence. I was one of the jurors on the DeVault trial who was more than likely selected because of my experience with domestic violence. I can comfortably say that those who pretend to carry the cross of domestic violence infuriate me just as it will antagonize those on this jury with similar experience.

Arias lost a couple jurors in her attire, her outward manifestation of a falsehood and her aroma of manipulation.

BBM How does he know this? I like to read his court summaries but he embellishes so much in his writing.

Same here, Dmacky. I have misread things a lot to be something more sinister than it already is. Time for this trial to end.

Grat post, Bernina. Thanks for all you do here. Take a good long break and enjoy your freedom.

Nurmi said TA had Borderline Personality Disorder also. Really! How do you get a dead person to take the test? Nurmi comes out with the craziest lines.

Right? Who diagnosed him? Jodi? *rolling my eyes*

He can't know for sure. He projects himself into this jury box and writes based on the emotions he felt and the conclusions he learned his fellow jurors came to in the Marissa Devault case. I really enjoy his insights but they're just that.

If any of the jury is or has been involved with domestic violence issues, the "purple" will stand out, believe me. If I was on the jury, I'd make that assumption that CMJA was trying to place herself as a victim of DV with her color choice. It's been around since 1994.

http://www.purpleribbonproject.com/

Paul Sander's IS someone who has had experience with domestic violence AND a juror in the DeVault trial, if he sees a correlation, jurors with DV experience will more than likely come to the same conclusion.

It will make them angry that the ONLY victim of DV was Travis. Just as jurors with experience in PTSD.

The defense's choice to use DV and PTSD as mitigators, only closes the eyes and ears of those jurors who KNOW what these conditions entail: it's a "virtual slap" to the face, another form of violence and trauma, to the victims (incl. family and friends) who suffer from DV and PTSD.

Jodi or her "wardrobe assistant" picks clothes to intentionally annoy people. The skimpy top, the purple (domestic violence), royal blue (Travis' favorite color and worn by his family).

I just discovered Dr. DeMarte graduated from my home state, Michigan State University. Cool!

I don't feel he embellishes anymore than we do. heck, I feels she lost jurors too. I would bet on it!

BBM The embellishments are just his feeling, IMO.

I think he may be writing another book about this case and as a result, he may add some embellishments for a more interesting read. Some people who have not followed
the trial, as we do, that buy the book, may not realize that everything said or noted is not what we think happened at the trial and will accept these little embellishments as facts.
So be it- it will still be a very interesting book because he writes so well and the majority of what he writes is indeed fact- just as he sees the facts- may not be what we consider facts tho'.

All :moo:
