Ok guys, I need to let off some steam so please pardon my french if I slip up.

I've been very upset and b****y since my appointment with the specialist on the 21st of Sept. I was initially told they had taken a FEW biopsies only to find out they took a LOT of biopsies. The good news is there was no cancer. The bad news; something showed up in the biopsies but they were unable to determine what it was. I was told there was nothing that could be done. BS.

I see my family Dr. this Friday, so hopefully he can suggest something else that the last two specialists couldn't to help remedy the situation. This has been going on for over three years now and I can't take the pain and suffering much longer.

My real rant - I'm following a case here that is truly gut-wrenching. There are a few newer members but mostly one particular individual that are really making it difficult to even get on and read the thread. They're just posting nonsence and stuff that is completely irrelevant to the subject on hand. GRRRRRR. I try my best to be patient (guess I need to hook up with Zuri ) but I just feel like I keep banging my head against a cement wall. They're taking cults, zombies, you name it - some of the stuff that was posted was so far-fetched it was incomprehensible. :gaah::gaah::gaah:

A few members have made complaints to the effect and other stuff has been reported and the posts have been removed. When something is posted and verified as fact (as best as can be), one of these dudes posts a response that just makes me SMFH. Unfortunately, some members seem to have left the thread. I just may have to do the same. This is the first time, since I became a member here, that I've become so annoyed with this kind of crap but I've yet to see it this bad in any other thread, thank goodness. I know everyone is entitled to their opinion but some of these dudes need theeir med's adjusted, lol. :scared:

Sorry for the rant and thanks for letting me vent here. I feel much better now!!! :blushing:

It happens, sometimes you just have to put the individuals on "ignore". And it may seem like members have moved on to another thread, but they lurk. Sometimes there's peeps who can't "read" your emotion behind the words and get bent out of shape. Others are incredibly opinionated. Just roll with it, click the report icon if it REALLY takes things out of orbit, or walk away from the computer. Sometimes off the wall ideas DO bring about a nugget of information.
I was IM-ing with a new member, she had some sleuthing going on and I was so caught up in my idea of why an individual person had been murdered, I really had blinders on. She brought up some good questions, and I kept giving her encouragement, but I didn't think it was going to go anywhere..............then she hit paydirt. She had all the pieces that gave credence to her scenario. I thought it was pretty damn good, and encouraged her to go ahead and contact "Silent Witness".
She did, the "suspect" was arrested on unrelated charges, but was soon eliminated as a POI. But it was a damn good sleuthing. One less POI taken out of the mix that LE hadn't known was out there. The suspect POI even got a blip in the most recent news article about the case. A fingerprint matched, but the DNA didn't.

Cults and zombies........that's kinda out there!:scared: If it's an interesting case, you should give use the link and we can head over and maybe add some direction to the case..............? Or you can ask them to explain the motive, method, and opportunity of their theory, it's got to pass the "sniff" test, lol!

This is interesting . .. .

Margarine was originally manufactured to fatten turkeys. When it killed the turkeys, the people who had put all the money into the research wanted a payback so they put their heads together to figure out what to do with this product to get their money back.

It was a white substance with no food appeal so they added the yellow colouring and sold it to people to use in place of butter. How do you like it? They have come out with some clever new flavourings....

DO YOU KNOW.. The difference between margarine and butter?

Read on to the end...gets very interesting!

Both have the same amount of calories.
Butter is slightly higher in saturated fats at 8 grams; compared to 5 grams for margarine.

Eating margarine can increase heart disease in women by 53% over eating the same amount of butter, according to a recent Harvard Medical Study.

Eating butter increases the absorption of many other nutrients in other foods.
Butter has many nutritional benefits where margarine has a few and only because they are added!

Butter tastes much better than margarine and it can enhance the flavours of other foods.

Butter has been around for centuries where margarine has been around for less than 100 years .

And now, for Margarine..

Very High in Trans fatty acids.

Triples risk of coronary heart disease ...

Increases total cholesterol and LDL (this is the bad cholesterol) and lowers HDL cholesterol, (the good cholesterol)

Increases the risk of cancers up to five times..

Lowers quality of breast milk

Decreases immune response.

Decreases insulin response.

And here's the most disturbing fact... HERE IS THE PART THAT IS VERY INTERESTING!

Margarine is but ONE MOLECULE away from being PLASTIC... and shares 27 ingredients with PAINT.

These facts alone were enough to have me avoiding margarine for life and anything else that is hydrogenated (this means hydrogen is added, changing the molecular structure of the substance).

Open a tub of margarine and leave it open in your garage or shaded area. Within a couple of days you will notice a couple of things:

* no flies, not even those pesky fruit flies will go near it (that should tell you something)

* it does not rot or smell differently because it has no nutritional value ; nothing will grow on it. Even those teeny weeny microorganisms will not a find a home to grow.

Why? Because it is nearly plastic . Would you melt your Tupperware and spread that on your toast?

Pass the BUTTER PLEASE

I found out that stuff from a poultry judge way back..........I don't use margarine. The scary stuff was that it killed turkeys, didn't rot, and flies wouldn't touch it.
I look at what my grandparents ate and figure if that kept them healthy through their 90's +, it'll be good enough for me.

YorN, you always post some really interesting and cool stuff! Glad you're back to posting! :loveyou:

The stuff about JM, eh, "haters gonna hate" (that's such a lame expression, but whatever, lol), there wouldn't be this interest in him if it hadn't been for JAII, HLN, and #281129's media blitz.
As far as I'm concerned, he has more than maintained his prosecutorial integrity through out his career. He puts bad people away, that's his job, and if the evidence wasn't there, he wouldn't bother with the case.

Bernina, I agree 100% with your post. Great sleuthing is what it takes to solve a case. I welcome the opinions on motivation etc. that some members have put forth as it makes for greater discussion and sleuthing, but those members are no longer posting.

I am trying my best to not use the ignore option but just may have to bite the bullet and do so. That, or leave the thread altogether.

I, myself and other members have reported posts and they have been removed. Kudos to the mods here. It's a never-ending cycle, though. I think the problem stems from Facebook members that have recently signed up here. They've got so many FB pages/groups about the case and Websleuths is mentioned in many of them. Most of the stuff being discussed and posted on FB is pathetic to say the least - they're grabbing screenshots of anything and everything and basing their opinions on that info. MSM very seldom comes into play.

This is the kind of stuff I see being posted. Some members aren't reading the MSM reports, just posting what they've read on FB pages/groups etc. It really makes for meaningless discussion and sleuthing a bunch of BS.

As for asking for an explanation, it's been done and the responses ended up being removed. I don't know what it's like to literally be in a nut house, but this thread has got to be the closest I'll ever get to one!

That being said, the threads have been cleaned up but like I said it's a never-ending cycle.

Here's the thread: http://www.websleuths.com/forums/sh...unbar-Blanchette-2-Blairmore-AB-14-Sep-2015-2

BTW, Bernina, your furbabies are beautiful and your hair is gorgeous! I had hair about the same length, many years ago, and my dad nicknamed me Hippy!!!

Morning!

well... first - the Huz is NOT feeling ANY effects from the new red-blood cells... he says he still feels the same as he did last Friday when he saw his hematologist... and now they have given up on him, and will be moving him to a nursing home to get physical therapy so he can walk again. He can't get up or walk... I'm so disallisioned (sp?) with the hospital doctors... :gaah: hundred times over!! :gaah: I don't know what to do now... The hematologist wants to do a bone marrow biopsy. The Huz just wants to come home and end it all.... another :gaah: and he will do it, I know...

I hate butter--really I hate both.

Prayers for everyone on the east coast, Caribbean. I am about 2 hours from Hilton Head and Savannah, 3 hours from Myrtle Beach. We usually get the wind gusts and rain but we are pretty safe.
I'll never forget Hugo. I have never experienced anything like it and I pray Joaquin fizzles quick and no one is hurt or loses any animals or property.
:please:

I haven't seen you here on the Sidebar U2forever so:

:welcome4:

Here's some news about the hurricane:

Hurricane Joaquin Strengthens Into Category 3 Storm

"...Several models show the hurricane turning north, bringing it to the coast of the Carolinas or mid-Atlantic states on Friday or Saturday, the agency said.

However, the storm's exact path remains unclear, with what the NHC called an "excellent" prediction tool indicating it could cut a path out to sea.

"The range of possible outcomes is still large, and includes the possibility of a major hurricane landfall in the Carolinas," it said.

The governors of New York and Connecticut and emergency-management officials in New Jersey - states all hard hit by 2012's Superstorm Sandy and already facing heavy rains unrelated to Joaquin on Wednesday - warned residents to begin preparations for a possible severe storm...."

I hope that the stuff I post is interesting to others. I agree about the "sour grapes" that they write about JM.

I had more stuff to post this AM, but WS was acting screwy and I gave up and went away.

Now it seems that a certain someone stopped his assault on JM and is after Sheriff Joe. Take a look:

Sheriff Joe Arpaio has always done it his way

THE OFFICE OF 'AMERICA'S TOUGHEST SHERIFF' HAS COST THE COUNTY MILLIONS OF DOLLARS, AND HE MAY BE FACING HIS TOUGHEST COURT FIGHT EVER.

BBM 1 Mds don't know everything; if they did, they would be God, IMO.

BBM 2 Oh dear. :sigh: and :therethere: for you. There's not much more I can say to make you feel better except that I'm praying for your DH and you. :heartbeat:

And a :gaah: from me, too. :blowkiss:

Here's a new quiz for y'all to take: :)

What secret emotion are you hiding?

http://www.littlethings.com/secret-emotion-quiz/

My Result: Love
"On the inside, you are truly full of love. You are a kind and warm individual. Since you have such a beautiful and open heart, there is no reason to hide it from the world. Let your love out for everyone to see!"

GigiG, did you see Netanyahu speech at the UN? And Russia not bombing ISIS, but those opposed to the current regime, that is Iranian and Russian backed.

Did you know that the Bible says something terrible is going to happen in Damascus. The world's oldest continuous lived in city, mentioned in Genesis, will never be lived in again. It will be be a ruined heap. Some think that Israel will make a preemptive strike, and then all nations will turn against her.

Sorry, Daisymae, I wasn't worried about you before because I thought you were too far south from where the hurricane is going to make landfall. But you're right, you'll definitely be the first to be hit, even if it's technically still over the ocean.

It sounds like flooding is going to be the biggest problem. Now they're saying it might be another superstorm Sandy.

Aww, you're so sweet. I'm getting nervous now because although I wasn't here for Hugo, I've heard all about him. No rain here yet. Will keep updating as long as I have internet.

I'm about 20 miles from the coast

YesOrNo, for some reason all the pictures don't show up, so I can't take the test. :frown:

I'll try it using another browser!

ETA: My Result: Joy

"On the inside, you are truly full of joy. You have a happy and celebratory soul. With such positivity brewing inside of you, there is no reason to hide it from the world. Let your joy out for everyone to see!"

Oh, Daisymae, please stay safe. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

This is one of the things I like about living here - I never have to worry about hurricanes. We only ever get the heavy rains here as a result of them.
