So glad Hatfield stopped by too and told us about that trial. After this last trial by tweet, I have taken a long break. I couldn't even watch the You Tube videos of the trial after they were released. Did any of you watch them? Is is a worth it to watch and if so, which parts? TIA

Zoey! How are you? What is the car situation like now?

Still the same--we are currently considering Daughters car the "Edward Scizzorhand" car--shes had offers to fix it but thus far-------:gaah: And being Wednesday---:(----live if a very fun house! As I've stated over before--depression is contagious and I still think we are still overwhelmed by my husbands major PTSD depression and all the other garbage--- (Wednesday he has his "group" and I don't see any major change---just lots of heavy sighs) But he does bond well with the Bunny ---- (I hate bunny--bunny mean and another thing I have to clean up after)---As you can tell still not overly cheerful on my end....sorry..,......

Good Afternoon my SB family!

Pneumonia Update: Thank you again for all your Jingles!
Went to the doctor today and had a chest X-ray and it is clear! I can now go to PT to get stronger, starting off in the pool. I am still oxygen dependent as I get short of breath on exertion, but I only need 2L which is awesome. Hopefully I will deflate as my Prednisone doses are tapered. Nothing fits and I am so afraid my leggings, which are stretched to the hilt, are going to roll all the way down. Now that might cause others PTSD...

kinda the same but along the same line--has anyone tried the "spanx/yummytummies" wear ? How do people wear them comfortably?---how do they even promote that they contain any figure flaws? I see all mine......:blushing:

I have been reading over on the Dr. Teresa Sievers thread, trying to get caught up. Dmacky and ATL have helped me get caught up as some of my questions and theories have already been explored. There are so many sub threads I still need to read. It is going to get very interesting when the charging documents are unsealed. Such a tragic case and just reading all that surrounds that case makes your hinky meter go into overdrive.

Oh how I wish I could wave a magic wand. Has your DH tried EMDR? It helped me and I was able to reframe a lot of the constant video loop, became slightly less hyper vigilant much to my children's' delight. I went down a deep dark hole, but came back up with time. There are different treatment modalities so I hope his care team can find the best way to help him. I am so sorry you are going through this. It takes a huge toll on everyone, and truthfully, I had no idea how much until I finally got the proper help.

I think a lot of the issues my children have had, that I have shared here, were caused in part by having a mother with PTSD. I was never diagnosed properly and it took 30 years and a smart therapist to figure it out. Finally. And all the puzzle pieces fell into place and made sense.

Bless you for hanging in there. I know it is not easy and IMO you are a hero for just trying to understand and be the support system.

Well, I have had NO success with spanx. It pushed all the fat either up or down and did nothing to hide my flaws. Perhaps my flaws were too much for the spanx or they didn't make spanx big enough or with enough stretch. One of The spanx rolled all the way down and the other only went half way up and got stuck. I had to call for assistance...

Pages, I have never heard of any of the musicians or songs you post. Ever. When were these songs popular? I didn't really listen to music until the late 60's on, and it was Neil Diamond, Elton John, Earth, Wind and Fire, Diana Ross and the Supremes, the Beatles, the Monkees etc. to start. So where am I on the generational chart? I need some edumacation!

Re wifi ...I am a luddite with technology. 90% of the time I am on the internet I am sitting outside of my house on my back screen porch or in front. Had so many internet connection issues with wifi strength outside and sometimes in my master bedroom as it is about 60 feet from the Wi-Fi router.

A friend recommended this to me..and heaven ever since ! You can get multiples and keep extending signal. You merely plug it into an outlet in between where your router is, and where you want it to go to extend the signal. It says 30 feet, but mine does much further! Hmmm did photo attach ? This type of equipment are on sale alllll the time for less than $20, $35 full price?

ETA give me 5 minutes to send the picture to my laptop and uploaded correctly

LOL, you're younger than some of us. Most bands were one hit wonders, and some part of the British invasion in the early sixties. Peter and Gordon , Chad and Jeremy , who I think appeared on the Dick Vandyke show, Dave Clark Five, Herman Hermits, and many more. My first concert was the Monkee's.

I'm glad to see your getting better for the holidays, Zuri. You sure have been through a lot this year, more than most have in a lifetime. We'l have to keep the jingles going somyou're well enough to see the new year in with KEN and her new hubby.

Yes, I would give this type of device a try before I called in the Geek Squad. These devices usually work to extend WIFI signals from routers.

The Geek Squad usually are pretty good too although I never used them myself but heard good things about them coming to peoples houses to fix their computers.
They will probably tell you that you need one of these devices. LOL

Thanks for this nifty item! I just may look into getting one to two for next summer.

Zoey .... sending extra energy and good thoughts to you.... I hope they reach you.

I am going to buy more extenders tomorrow. I have one, but it is obviously not strong enough as it says 67%. I didn't know you could use more than one and have success. Thank you so so much!

I started reading over there, and than they split all the subjects separately, and I got lost... Has the husband been arrested, or just the two previous guys? TIA!!

Just checking in and now we're talking about spanx :floorlaugh: Zuri your post has me in stitches! :floorlaugh: :hilarious:

Thinking of my SB friends
I miss the friendly faces here, and I am so ashamed of myself :shame: for not checking in. I hope you all know how special y'all are to me, this forum is SO people-friendly. I :loveyou:
I certainly don't need to take a xanax before entering this thread, that's for sure :giggle: The Teresa Sievers case is so addicting and I've never seen anything like it. It's so very sad, and it really tugs at your heart. Lots and lots of threads to keep track of, and it keeps me busy with my allotted "sittin time." I only have 2 more weeks of PT and I am down to 2 x weekly, so only 4 more visits! I am much doing better, but if I sit for any length of time, that pain comes back...though NOT at the same intensity. We sure take our good health for granted, I know I did.
Sending love, hugs and prayers to anyone who is struggling right now with life, and the curve balls it always tends to through at us when we least expect it.

There is no way I can catch up, but I will definitely try.

Zuri when I get time, I will fill you in as best I can. Lot's of things I'm sure you are not aware of.

Have any of you seen the new Lincoln MKZ commercial with Matthew McConaughy getting dressed in black tie? You see him put his contacts in, see shots of his shoes and watch, closet, etc. OMG, this has to be the sexiest commercial I have ever seen and there is nothing evocative about it. It is in black and white and IMO pure genius from an advertising perspective.

If you have seen it, did you pay attention to it or am I on too much medication and not enough oxygen. Or maybe all that boy toy talk....
