And now yet another book about the Florida murderer:
'America's most-hated woman': Casey Anthony drove around for FIVE days with two-year-old daughter Caylee's body in the trunk before disposing it, new book claims
"...Dominic Casey's new book, Privilege Waived Part II, Caylee Marie Anthony, makes a number of shocking claims about Casey Anthony...
Dominic Casey was hired by the Anthony family five months after the little girl's death on June 16, 2008 to find her remains.
'On the afternoon of Monday, June 16, 2008, 'Casey Anthony murdered Caylee in the family's backyard, above ground pool,' writes the author.
At 2.51pm on June 16, Casey conducted a google search for 'fool proof suffocation' and then visited a pro-suicide website on the computer at her parent's house.
'Venturing into the pro suicide-pit', a website, offered advice on foolproof ways to die.
She followed that search up with suffocation by placing a plastic bag over your head.
Another google search was: Heated Wires can melt disposable breathing circuits.
And then she checked in on her Facebook page.
Between 3:39:59 pm and 4:10:41 pm, there was no cellular activity on Casey's cell phone.
'Casey had changed Caylee into her bathing suit. She walked her into the backyard and hooked the ladder onto the pool platform. Casey guided Caylee up the ladder to the pool then maliciously drowned her'.
'She then carried her lifeless body in her arms from the pool, through the side gate to the garage and into the trunk of the car' where she remained for five days..."

hahaha!
Yeah, I think after 28 years they should be tossed. Most ground herbs/spices are good for a couple years, some whole spices are good for up to four years. Best way to know is to use your eyes and nose. If they've lost their color and/or don't have their typical aromatic qualities, toss 'em.
ETA: Two interesting things that never go bad (and go well together!): honey and pure vanilla extract...
Yes, Gigi, you're right about vanilla extract, we still have some from over 30 years ago that we purchased in Mexico. It's still good and has that good strong vanilla scent and flavor. Isn't that amazing? And honey as well, it just crystallizes and has to be melted back down, yet always still tastes like honey.

http://money.cnn.com/2015/11/11/news/companies/target-ocd-sweater/Obsessive Christmas Disorder: OCD is no joke, so some wonder why Target is selling this sweater"
Target is selling a sweater that makes light of OCD, which isnt so funny to some of the people who actually have the disorder.
The red sweater is emblazoned with the acronym OCD, followed by the words Obsessive Christmas Disorder.
Speaking of spices, how long do you keep your spices for? Exactly what is their shelf life (no pun intended)? My BFF told me that the spices I had that were 28 years old were no longer good and to throw them away...![]()

Greetings from the cold, snowy, high desert...............yeh...........
Had snow last night, so the baby, who we're just calling "Chica", had her first real white stuff. She did really well, stayed in the shelter with mom, and was out blasting around this morning. Another sweetheart, just like Zuri.
Windows 10 had an update which totally screwed up my computer, am dreading calling MS tech services. The update wiped out my system restore dates, the notification bar and start menu.............the things that were supposed to be fixed with that update if your system didn't have the clean Win 10 download. So my computer is majorly fubar again.
Direct TV added Aljezeera America to it's lineup for whatever package I have, so I've found a decent news source without all the bias, and news that's up to the minute and not 12-24 hours old.
Doing a LOT of cleaning, re-organizing, demo, just trying to get things in order. Guess I'm just kind of getting overwhelmed, blah. The ex BF has tried to throw a few monkey wrenches in the works by changing his mind about issues we had agreements on, I've just let make the change and then he DOESN'T follow through............because that's just the way he is, lol! Kinda "concerned" that he's not on top of things, he doesn't remember stuff......like that I haven't smoked in 3 years or that Evey took her horse with her when she moved over 2 months ago, I dunno....
Still 32 degrees at 9:20 so I guess the snow is going to stick a bit longer.
Things are going great with the new BF, Marc. It's just really easy, comfortable, NORMAL. The distance isn't much of an issue, it actually helps us keep on track with stuff we individually need to get done. Thanksgiving weekend is going to be crazy busy, he's going to be working on one of his contracting jobs Wednesday, that night he'll be doing sound for the band, Thursday he's up here (we don't have a clue what we'll be doing, but football is in there, lol!), Friday have 2 cords of wood coming with no scheduled time, we're supposed to be back in Phoenix for a reunion Friday night and somehow squeeze in checking out a horse that's down there to bring up here, Saturday is a scheduled ride for his MC club, Saturday night the band is up in Prescott, and somehow we have to get one of his boats up here for storage and 2 tons of pellets...........................I am still getting used to having someone do what he says he's going to do! Marc runs on all 8 cylinders, none of this "hurry up and wait". I should be able to make the adjustment pretty easily, it's just "shocking" to be around someone who always follows through. I believe it's called "normal", lol!
Need to get time to go through the posts....I'm SLACKING!
Miss you kids! I'll be back! :seeya:
