Those two pictures are different pictures. His position in front of the display is changed from one to the other, as are his arm positions.

Thanks Rasann, I didn't realize that. Do you know when the photos were posted here?

Please help me remember,(at that age) I've read so
many threads of this case. There was a picture of
him (at school,I think) looking very sad,and someone
posted that it was strange because he was always
smiling.

He may have been told at that time that he was to
leave the school fair,to go someplace and was sad that
he was missing the fair and the talent show that day.

If the picture was taken another day, please forgive
me,but that picture has stayed in my mind, and when
I saw it I thought "he's been given some bad news"

I have prayed for this little man.

JMOO

I saw that picture and immediately examined his shirt, it was not the same CSI one... so must have been from a separate day and I did not see any science fair projects in it.. he was also in my opinion just looking down.

I have a question that I hope hasn't been asked and answered- too many threads, etc. to go back through...speculation has been put out there about why SM's older son went to live with bio dad...do we know why Kyron lived with his bio dad rather than his bio mom? very curious about this...

Therefore, they have to assume, if she took him, then he is dead.

Further, assuming he is dead, the killer is the last person to have seen him alive.

SM is the last known person to have seen him alive.

LE states that the community's children are not in danger.

Thus, Kyron was last with someone he knew, not a stranger.

IMO, LE has set the stage for two reasonable inferences today: (1) Kyron is dead, and (2) SM is the killer.

They don't care, most likely, whether the general public makes those inferences. They are targeting SM, hoping she will confess, IMO.

Tricia

Our local news, out of Eugene, OR, KMTR an NBC affiliate, used these words "bits and pieces of the step mother's accounts did not add up". That was at the 6:30 pm pst broadcast.

Now, I can't find the quote on the web, but that's what she said because I looked at my husband and said, Holy cow, now that's news,! I have never heard that reported!
When I look online at their report, it's not there. Maybe she was just speaking out of turn and they cut that out. But that's a major affiliate implying something yet again.

Please delete this if it's inappropriate. But I know what I heard and watched.

Thanks Rasann, I didn't realize that. Do you know when the photos were posted here?

Oh gosh....early on....it is with the two other ones that have the friend in them. One with the friends project, and the other with the two boys together. Later on, someone shadowed out the friend on the one of them together. Those last 2 pictures are not on the photobucket acct., I just checked it. They MAY be on the media photo album, which is on the cbs station site IIRC. I know that album does still have the bowling pictures of the two boys together.

I will keep looking for a bit to see if it can be reposted side by side.

As far as Kyron's uncle, for the poster who asked, there is a separate thread here. He was convicted the day before yesterday in Washington State on a sexual offense, apparently something along the lines of statuatory rape. The case was from more than a year ago that came to a conclusion this week. At first, it caused a stir as the LE site for the county in WA had it listed as though he had been arrested that day, for a child abuse charge, rather than gone to trial that day.

And that little fist pump thing she did when she couldn't comfort Desiree--when Desiree wouldn't respond to her "comforting." So odd!

Yes, that fist pump thing was weird, I almost thought she was going to walk off, but she stepped back. Although all the family looked distressed and in extreme pain, she was the only one who appeared to be anxious and antsy. That is what got to me the most.... her fidgety movements...she was making me feel anxious.

As for motive,

That would make Kyron not quite 2 when he went to live with TH and KH. IMO that put TH in a very "awkward" situation - having to now raise and care for a 2 yr old that was taken from his mother. At that young age - Kyron was becoming well-bonded to his mom and then taken away -he would have cried and been upset (hey moms, remember the terrible twos? They can be bad enough just on their own - but to have mommy gone and go through that?) IMO TH never truly "bonded" with Kyron. Next, TH gets pregnant and now has to deal with that and Kyron. Plus there is another situation concerning TH's older child that she has to deal with as well.

IMO TH did not like Kyron. We have seen that somewhat referenced today on HLN with the FB captions and pics. She resented him and "blamed him" for putting her in the middle between Desiree and Kaine and now she had another baby (her own) that needed her attention. I think she was so involved in the school because to her being around other children while also being with Kyron was easier for her to deal with than just being with Kyron - does that make any sense? Plus, it also painted her in a "better light" as far as her personal character.
Now I have my own idea about motive - but I can't go into that just yet. But, if I'm right - its gonna get even more ugly before its over.

(respectfully snipped)

Thanks so much. Your post clears up alot...Bolded section by me: Yes, that makes alot of sense to me. Thanks, again

Hi, I thought he went to live with his grandpa. Haven't read very much about that. xox

I know that locals (those linked to the school 6/4) were asked by LE not to speak of that day but has anyone seen in an article with statements of support for the SM? How good of a person/mom/friend she is, etc?

I've seen generic comments to articles ie "it couldn't be her she had left" or "he was last seen at the school after he left", but aside from a grandmother I haven't seen much in support on a personal level towards her.

Think about this, LE is certain TH was the last person to see Kyron. That has to mean he left school with her because otherwise she left school first and he was still at school and was seen by students, teachers, etc.... His body is not at the school hidden somewhere (they've searched) so the only way LE can make that statement is if they are confident Kyron left school with TH. However TH claims he should have been at school through her actions of waiting for him at the bus stop and then calling the school about his whereabouts.

So the only way I see TH can wiggle out of this would be to say Kyron left school with her that morning (to go get something, errand, whatever) and that she dropped him back off afterwards and therefore Kyron should have been at school.

I believe that LE knows (or reasonably infers) that little Kyron is deceased. That's why the case switched to a 'criminal investigation' on day 10 and why they continue to search bodies of water, rather than treating this as if he walked away. LE knows he's not coming home for 'Father's Day.' So does the family.

There's the golden rule of 48 hrs in child cases, where something like 90%+ of kids are killed within those hours, which is why it's so crucial to know ASAP when a child is missing. Valuable hours were unfortunately lost in this case. That doesn't mean Kyron could have been saved, btw, but every minute counts.

However, if a child comes to harm at the hands of a family member or caretaker, then all bets are off and no amount of time is going to matter since these things are usually premeditated in such cases.

Still, to give up all hope because statistically it does not look good. If I were ever in those shoes after the Elizabeth Smart case, no way, no way, no way would I give up hope that easily. Seems to me they have been showing no signs of hope including no pleas for his safe return. All it takes is for one child to come home for me to never give up hope.

As a local I can tell you that I have heard plenty, and none of it good. :( As for definative links, I don't remember that I've seen any.

Thanks, I found the blanked out arm pic on the Skyline Elementary thread.

I think that pic surfaced when LE removed Kyron's glasses in that pic. It is a bit of a different shot tho. O/T anyhoo, eh? lol

Yep and I've been sitting here trying to figure out what LE could have found that would lead them to believe he is dead - yet without finding his body.

**warning - graphic***
Other than finding a whole, whole lot of blood and they've proven its his. I can't come up with anything else. Yes, he's been gone a long time - but that doesn't mean he's deceased. Jacyee went years and was still alive. So, what could it be?
Maybe they really have found his body and it was a slip of the tongue to add the word "alive" at the end of the statement about Terri being the last person to see Kyron...alive. ( I think it was a big "oooops").

my opinion

Add to that { after your statement followed by ....} that possibly her phone made a ping on SI that day. I could swear I heard that on a newscast on KOIN. Too much info :banghead:

***************STOP and read, thank you.

Right now, we need some links to all these facts that are being discussed here. We are starting to get very invasive with our posts into people who haven't been named a POI.

Please start editing your "fact based" posts with links now.

And let's stop the family dynamic analyzing without a POI please.

I did not realize she was adopted.

Out of curiosity... why does Carol need to be called "adopted mother" and not just her mom?

is her bio mom in her life or part of any of this?

Out of curiosity, why is Desiree always called bio mom and not mom? (not trying to be a smarty pants, but that term "bio mom" for Kyron, when Desiree is his MOM and has contact with him... just sets wrong with me.)

I don't think that she's found her biological mom, though she has tried.
