VZ:in your affidavit you said Qwabe wanted money in cubbyhole,now you say your evidence Dewani wanted it there is incorrect?

Earlier he testified it was Dewani who said he'd leave money in cubbie hole.

VZ: Mr. Tongo, as we pointed out before the tea adjournment, you testified that you explained to them, how you drive etc. Your statement says Qwabe told you? What is correct? Your statement or evidence in chief?

Tongo: I introduced the discussion to them & we continued the discussion.

VZ: The question is simple. Did you tell them, as per your evidence in chief or did Qwabe, as per your statement?

Tongo: As I said, I am the one who initiated the discussion.

Tongo: As I've said, My Lady, some of the things are reappearing now and I remember that it was me who told them about the route we would follow and they contributed to the discussion about what they knew about the location.

VZ: We've now established that the idea of the money in the cubbyhole came from them. What steps did you then take to inform the accused?

Tongo: when I was explaining to him. I can't remember if I sent an sms or phoned him. He responded & said to me the money is in the pouch behind the back passenger seat.
