I agree, he went into damage control pretty quick, afaik, it was when Tongo was accused and SD himself or his lawyer asked if he now was a suspect too. :thinking:

Ahhh, so AK did the same, I haven't followed her case closely. I watched a documentary a while back, just so many mistakes made there too in the investigation. I don't know what to believe.

Not sure that AK did, I was referring to the other 2 young Italian women who also lived in the house.

Oh sorry misread that. I didn't even know there were more flatmates? wow that makes it even more complicated. It's an issue some people have a problem with for example, the Ramsays did the same.

I think the AK case may have been different because people in that were in a country where the language was not their native language. That can be an important issue. I think police in those cases might even request witnesses hire a lawyer (who is fluent in the client's native lang).

PH: That's correct.

PH:This was the ring the accused told me to check for, between the seats of the vehicle.

The photo album indicates the ring that was found under the deceased. PH says that's the ring he showed Dewani, to which he replied that that was the wedding ring.

VZ: You said he asked you to look at the stitching.

PH: He said there was a groove between the seats, where the ring will be found.

VZ: When did he tell you that?

PH: The Monday, when he called me

VZ: The accused will say he called you to tell you that is one of the wedding rings. But then had some time to think about it and that he remembered that she (Anni) said she had hidden the rings.

Pretty cool head that Dewani had, uh? Hijacked at gunpoint, made to lay down, Anni hides the ring in a crack in the seats, in the dark.....and Dewani manages to take it all in, see the hiding place and tell police later.

PH: I'm not saying that. I just noticed a change in his demeanour.

PH: I can only testify as to what transpired. I can't testify to what he thought.
