If you look at the Daily Mail article posted, they’ve red circled an isle that was covered with rocks. They think he walked out on it & possibly fell into the water.
But where was the person he left with? He left at 3 AM with someone else on camera. If a witness saw him walking to the beach right after the club, he was with someone else at the time he fell in the water.

I’m not sure, NBC Nightly News is going to give an update.

If you are familiar with the beach you will know that you cannot fall into the water at a depth, you have to wade into it

I heard it was man made so there is a big drop there?

Yes I recall the case the husband was wearing a motorcycle helmet in the CCTV when he sprayed the camera. Also pictured leaving with a suitcase believed to contain Ana so very disturbing. Definitely a lack of information
I will need to revisit the thread now!
Am thinking of previous case of Colombian lady Ana separating from husband in Florida. She fled to Spain. Police released video of someone at her door and spraying paint on the camera. Anyone remember? Husband has since been arrested.

But also some reticence on the part of the police as regards release of info
where

Moo...wonder what the street lighting is like at nite. There are green space parks nearby. Lots of isolated places close by.....moo
Yes this has Sudisha Konanki vibes who disappeared from the beach inebriated a power outage during her spring break trip from memory last year? Was it Mexico?

You'd think that if he wanted to walk on that rocky promontory he would have taken his phone and not left it on the beach. On the other hand if he was so inebriated, he could have forgotten it. IF his companion was still with him, wouldn't at least one of them have noticed the phone? But if she was with him, wouldn't she have seen him fall off the rocks? Or did she leave before he went to the rocks?

IF the thief is telling the truth, that he found it on the beach.
We just don't have the circumstances.

So devastating....

Yes, adapted for the Olympic Games but shallow for a long way out
The NBC Nightly News said his body was found near the coast, while the Daily News mention the rock isle. I don’t know how the water flows.

Then I wonder how they think he fell in and drowned.

Yes. From dailymail above he was seen on security cameras leaving with an unidentified person.

You can still drown in shallow water especially when inebriated

Behind a paywall
There’s a Daily Mail article posted by Arkay a few threads up. It’s the previous article to this one.

I listened to a short interview with Joseph Scott Morgan earlier this evening and he said that the autopsy will be important to determine if something was possibly put into Jimmy Gracey's drink, and also looking at his hands for any defensive wounds, any signs on his body of foul play, etc. And that the investigation will continue with analysis of the security video, interviewing people at the bar who may have interacted with him, etc. I tried to find the link again to post it here but can't find it now. Hopefully, tonight he and other experts will be giving more interviews and discussing the case and the various possibilities of cause and manner of Jimmy's death. It's too early simply to say that his death was an accident.

JMO since I can't find the link.

It seems like every time I decide to post, I can’t find my source document. 😉
