While busily ramming through their despicable "tax reform" scheme which will have a devastating economic impact for decades to come per economists. I guess it's his big gift and payback to all of his 1% supporters before he goes. Everybody else gets f***** for not being the beneficiaries of ill gotten gains and filthy lucre.

Oh, tragic indeed... And, especially tragic, because they couldn't give tax reform the same time honored process that they did in '86.

I fear it won't end well. Might be good for a couple of years and then boom! --2008 revisited. --Or worse.

The one silver lining is universal health care might really be a platform after this ill thought out tax bill, and slashing of millions out of health care.

I don't get how the deficit hawks are passing one trillion deficit on futures. Like it is any guarantee that established businesses are going to suddenly drop everything and move back to USA, or be loyal to anyone other than shareholders...

This relates to the trump indictments because greed and power are at the center of the motivation... And oligarchic wealth is the mutual goal.

There's no altruism here. This country has struggled for so long and perhaps will lose the battle, tonight, for a generation, or two, in the balance of wealth and an astronomical deficit that will compromise the poor, middle class, the youth, and the elderly perhaps forever.
