One of the companies in the indictment is this entity:

MC Solo Holdings ( Sater, a Russian-born middleman who worked to create the Trump Soho

Does anyone have a link to the White House statement on Manafort's indictment? Manafort was reportedly called a bad guy in the statement.

ETA: Nevermind. What I had heard was an source on background, not an official statement.

Absolute hubris. Anyone else who had done this kind of dealing and was not traveling in high end circles would have been in prison a long time ago.

Might be a great time to make a new vodka. Absolute Hubris, a vodka flavored with crow and orange (just so no one thinks I am being political --orange as in Orange Is The New Black)

Gates had worked with Manafort in the private sector and followed him to Trump's campaign in 2016. Gates wound up moving to the Republican National Committee when Manafort was ousted from the campaign, and he helped set up a pro-Trump super PAC after the election.

George Papadopolous pleads guilty hitting the news now.

Reports that George Papadopolous pled guilty for lying to FBI on Oct. 3. Papadopolous worked for campaign in foreign policy and energy team. He is said to have had links to Russians.

If you guys haven't watched "Get Me Roger Stone" documentary yet, you need to - it is a much watch right now with this going on - it details the Manafort, Stone & Trump relationship.

MSNBC/Morning Joe are doing a nice job of reminding each other and the world of the presumed innocence of Manafort/Gates in this matter. CNN has a photo of Manafort in car going to turn himself in, presumably.

On MSNBC/Morning Joe, Matt Apuzzo (NYT) saying that he believes this indictment predates Mueller joining the investigation. He is pointing toward Ukraine business dealings. He did not say anything about Gates.

I do to ! Go to the documentary the New York lawyer is in there and he gives an amazing explanation as all these criminal indictments come rolling out .

I think it might be faster than we might think

Papadopolous was arrested in July when returning to US, and, then, pled guilty on Oct. 3. Apparently he has been cooperating and had a number of meeting with FEDS.
