Flynn made a statement that he is now going to START cooperating with prosecutors and acting on behalf of his family and the United States of America. START, being the operative word. It is an admission that previously, his actions were NOT on behalf of the interests of his family and NOT on behalf of the best interests of the USA, the country that he has sworn allegiance to, over and over again, as he rose through the ranks, and ultimately betrayed.
