I just finished reading about Star on PerezHilton.com, and every single time they talk about Star's husband, they refer to him as Big Gay Al. Here's just one example:

Be careful, Starzilla. Don't turn to food for comfort.

Big Gay Al is your partner and best girlfriend. Go shopping together. Go get manicures. But, don't go pig out, which is exactly what the fired View co-host did on Tuesday after her abrupt departure from the show.

I think all of this stems from allegations that he either used to be (or frequently used) a gay escort in NYC. The rumor mill here has a field day with him. I also believe there are some pictures of him either dresses (or undressed) a bit flamboyantly. I would look those pictures up for you, but don't think that's a good idea on a work owned computer! LOL.

And once again, Star continues to blab on and on and on... here's today's blab from NY Daily News... can't wait to hear how she paints herself as the big victim tonight on LKL. I hope she's digging a hole so big that even she can't crawl out of it.

Star Jones Reynolds has launched a bitter counterattack after Barbara Walters sensationally dissed her on yesterday's edition of "The View."

In an exclusive interview with the Daily News, the TV diva fought back after the show's creator said she felt let down, and that she was no longer welcome on set.

"For Barbara to say she felt betrayed is the height of hypocrisy," Jones Reynolds said last night.

Walters, who opened yesterday's show with the remark: "And then there were three," told viewers she was surprised when Jones Reynolds interrupted Tuesday's broadcast to say she was quitting.

"We gave her time to look for another job and hoped that she would announce it on this program and leave with dignity," said Walters, confirming Jones Reynolds' contract for a 10th season had not been renewed.

"But Star made another choice."

Speaking candidly to News contributor Jawn Murray, Jones Reynolds said she was humiliated by Walters' decision not only to let her go but to hire archenemy Rosie O'Donnell as co-host.

"Rosie had attacked me on every single evening entertainment program," said the 44-year-old former lawyer. "Barbara used that week to call her and invite her to be part of a show that I helped launch nine years ago."

O'Donnell criticized Jones for not confirming that her 150-pound slimdown was partly due to gastric bypass surgery.

Jones Reynolds recalled the April 21 phone call from her agents telling her she was being dropped from "The View." "Barbara did not call me herself," she said, bitterly. "After nine years, she didn't call me. They told me my contract would not be renewed because my approval rating had gone down. ... I was like, whoa!"

I wonder why she feels Barbara should have called her? Barbara has said it was ABC's decision to get rid of her - not hers. I'm sure she has some input - obviously - but ultimately the decision would be ABC's, no? Wonder why Star feels the need to slame Barbara and not go up against ABC?

Sounds like Jones Reynolds is a sore loser. Wonder what trash she is going to spew on LKL? Think Big Al will be there for moral support? I bet she gets her own show on BET now. Wonder what it will be called?

Star Jones has a HIGHLY inflated view of herself. What happened to her happens in the real world to normal people every day. She needs to get over it and move on. I just hope she drops from the limelight in a big way.

You're right. And now we're getting down to the nitty gritty - that being ABC would hire Rosie to replace Meredith knowing that Rosie had apparently upset her. She obviously thought she had some clout there! JMO.

Star has an insatiable appetite, IMO. Once food was eliminated, it seemed to be replaced with an insatiable need for people to see her, give her freebies and feed her huge bottomless pit of an ego. It's all about Star 24/7. She made herself into a caricature of herself and then tried to play the part, it backfired, and now she'll forever be relegated to the likes of the "B" and "C" television shows. I doubt she'll ever be back on primetime.

Let's hope her appearance on LKL this evening is the last time we see her on primetime in a long, long time.

I could see her with a Tyra, Maury, Jerry or Montel type show. No offense if you like those shows! :hand: JMO.

I cannot imagine anyone listening to her in a talkshow-how boring would that be..If she is hired by CNN I would loose all respect. BW has more class in her pinky fingernail than star jones has anywhere..
I am almost shocked that BW said anything to the audience-she must have been really mad because usually it goes unsaid..BW is the one member of the view who says very little that is up for controversy..I hope they dont get Gayle from the oprah show-she isnt the caliber they need-she is riding on oprah's coattails imo..I dont find her interesting on her own..they need more star power than that..or more journalistic power than that.
The show is on the verge of collapsing imo so they cant risk anymore miscues..elizabeth is cute but she doesnt bring anything aura wise..they need meredith back..but thats not going to happen.

I agree, Eve. Unfortunately, her disdain for her "guests" would show so quickly that someone would probably have to yank her off the air! What she needs to do is get back into reporting on law and/or crime. She's a bright woman whose roots are in law, and that's what she needs to be doing. Sadly, she decided she wanted to be a diva instead and that seems to have backfired on her.

The show is on the verge of collapsing

You got that right. I doubt if Rosie is going to help revive it.

OMG, Al Gore is on The View right now. Wow has he changed - gained bunches of weight and the way he combs his hair, ugh! Tipper looks great though!

If Ms Jones keeps opening her mouth, no one is going to want to touch her with a ten foot pole. She can kiss any network good bye!

Didn't she get into a big row with someone on Court TV over race issues in one of the high profile cases? I didn't see it but I have heard it referenced a few times. Always wondered what happened.

I just saw his ad for the show and he says Star will be taking calls!

I wonder if Barbara will call in? - probably not - too much class!

I noticed in the promo for tonight's LKL program that aired yesterday - both Star & Larry were seated in his studio. Star was wearing a pretty & feminine aqua blue colored top and Larry was wearing a green shirt. I also heard in that promo that Star would be taking calls.

Now - If the two of them are wearing those same clothes in tonight's broadcast that they wore in yesterday's promo - then I believe the show was taped - pre-recorded on Tues or yesterday. That would also mean that the viewer calls taken during the show would not be from tonight's supposedly "Live" initial airing.

On the other hand - perhaps, Star went into the CNN studio to meet with Larry on Tues or Wed and sat for the promo piece only .. ? Don't know - guess I'll have to wait & see what they're wearing tonight to know.

Am I making any sense here?

As a side note - on one of the MSNBC news programs today - an "in Touch' magazine reporter (who seemed to know) said that Star does not yet have another gig lined up. She has, however, done 4-5 programs on 'homes' for the Discovery channel that have not yet aired.
