I'm pretty sure she'll file bankruptcy to avoid paying for anything.
She may file bankruptcy and totally wipe this out. Or, she may file and be ordered by the bankruptcy court to pay some portion of it. Or, she may file and be deemed ineligible for any bankruptcy relief.
Bankruptcy laws changed a while back and it is not as easy to file now as it once was. All filings are scutinized carefully, and the eligibility requirements are much more strict than they once were.
It would be pretty cool, though, to see her file and have all her debts wiped out, and then the court finds out she had some cash stashed somewhere all along. Ooooh, yeah...that's what I want for Christmas!
If its a legal order then yes I would hope that it was enforced. How can that take place? I guess thru a collection agency. Those guys can be pretty tough. Unless someone takes her under their wing for the rest of her life and provides for her, how could she escape this?

I am thrilled because it paves the way for the rest of the money people are trying to recover. If OCSO receives reimbursement, why not the FBI? Why not TES? Why not Padilla? and so on and so on and so on....
Why not me for the time I spent worrying and wondering about her child? Why not every civilian searcher??
Make sense?
Well, I go back to OJ. The Goldmans won a civil suit and as far as I can recall, they were never paid for any of that (or at least a large majority). OJ Simpson was not broke, no matter what he said.
I thought the Goldmans won the publishing rights to OJ's book? The book has since been published and iirc, the Goldmans put themselves at the bottom of the list of creditors so others creditors could be paid.

O.J.'s book proceeds will go to Goldman family
That may be a little different. LE/FBI were required (I guess) to search due to the investigation. TES/civilian searchers were not. Nobody hired you to search, you did it on your own free will.
TES was invited in either by LE or the Ant's because that is how it works, although I see your point about volunteering.
It would be something however if some of them started filing anyway.
I wouldn't be surprised to find there is a lawyer out there willing to go to bat for some of the searchers who were harassed by the DT's P.I.'s and their identities made public with suggestions of wrong doing - when apparently all along the DT knew Caylee was dead from day one.
The volunteers signed up to search for a missing child - not personal harassment for the purpose of harassment only. Since there never was a missing child.

..sorry "no link"--it may have even been in the legal thread a while back..
..that stated bankruptcy does not include costs owed to the Court, or the IRS.
..in fact i'll drop by there now and check it out for certain...."AZ" will let us know!

I think that really is the crux of the problem with lawsuits. I can see it being very difficult to prove what I just bolded without getting into the whole attorney/client protection.
Except...Casey's attorney admitted in court that Caylee was dead from Day One. Had Baez not said that in court it would be difficult to prove that they knew it, but he openly admitted that Caylee was never missing and that Casey lied about it. Casey, in allowing this defense, waived her attorney/client privilege on that issue.
not necessarily, he could say "well, miss anthony only told me early this week, til then I had no idea" or such like.
I mean sure he knew OCA killed caylee all along, pretty much everyone on earth knew that. but my guess is she did not tell baez about the "drowning" til close to jury selection - maybe even after it started. I think she planned to go with zanny all the way up til she heard "I think she's guilty" from so many at jury selection.
