Because Jodi cleaned herself up completely before she left the bedroom area. There is no way in hell that Jodi was going to wear anything bloody, including shoes, downstairs. The blood that may have been in the car, IMO, came from her own wound on her left hand. Jodi could have been wearing shoes in the bathroom/bedroom and not had them on when she left the bedroom. It isn't as if the shoes were glued to her feet or anything, shoes are easily removed.

Didn't one of the roommates say that the banister to the downstairs looked different, as if it had been wiped down? I think JA must have had a pause in that fog to do a little wipin' on her way....

Yes, and that cleaning of the bannister more than likely happened because of the wound to Jodi's left hand ring and pinkie fingers. It was her own blood and not the blood from Travis. Jodi was not in any fog, the way the crime scene was contained in the bedroom/bathroom areas prove that.

as far as i have read, decomp affected where the wound looks like it was made. it was made just above the adams apple imo

which IMO is why she told ALV she hurt her finger when she was cutting an apple. So sick!

This is true. And I am so happy that it happened that way. The Anthony family made money off of Caylee when they should have made NONE. I also blame Dr Phil for that as well. I hope and pray that no one will touch any book written by Sandy Arias either.

I will not watch any movie or buy any book written by anyone connected to Jodi (I would read a book written by JM though!). JA has given to much darkness to this world already. I have no desire to know anything someone connected with her has to say. After this is over, I hope they all just go away.

A look into the mind of Arias

Till Death Do Us Part

Roses are red
and Violets are blue
After one meeting
I'm ObSeSsEd with you

I packed up my rental
with my gun and my knife
Gonna convince you to
make me your wife

A "surprise" little visit
and you scream "Go Away!"
but, ME and MY LOVE
are here to stay

I turned up the music
and locked up the pet
You're gonna love me
OR you're gonna regret

Pose in the shower
Like a good little boy
I'm the photographer
You are my toy

A shot to the head
you dropped to the floor
But, I'm not finished
I want more!

Crawling to the sink
on your hands and knees
Little do you know,
This is just a tease

I'm filled with Horror,
Lust and Rage
with a slice to the heart
I'm setting the stage

I move very swift
As I "capture" time
Gashing & slashing
I wield twenty nine

You don't love me
I'm just your 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
Try to flee, Travis
head for the door...

This is it,
You're close to the end
I am your nightmare
Never your friend

I pull back your head
and slash your vein
now suffer and feel
ALL of MY pain

The roses are DEAD
and the ribbons are blue
It took sixty-two
seconds to murder you.

I'm a 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬?
A 3-hole wonder?
Look whose buried
six feet under...

I'm in prison
locked away
The trials begun
But, I'll have my say

I'll scam and lie
Play the victim role
Drag you through mud
you're a deviant soul

I'm in a FoG
I don't know
I won't let the prosecutor
steal the show

Starving for attention
after 19 days
I can't tell the truth
I'm 50 Shades Of Craze

Pure & innocent
I have the perfect excuse
I am a woman who
cries domestic abuse

The Irises are cold
and your grandmother is too
Do you think she knows
who slaughtered you?

I'll fool the world
I'll be acquitted, you'll see
Back in society
and then I'm free.

I did :)
I wrote it on day 21 of the trial.
Thanks!

 You have real talent! :takeabow: Bet you can draw better than Arias too.

She was clearly used; however, adults choose whom they allow to use them. I have no idea what Grandma's mental state is/was.

It's clear that JA knew by age 16 that she wouldn't be allowed to ply her drug and/or other illegal trades, and stay out until all hours.

Living with her parents meant rules, authority figures, and someone who wasn't Jodi having the control and power.

Living with Grandma?

Not so much...

Exactly right! Once you reach grandparent's age (speaking only for myself), you are tired of raising kids and fighting with them, so you sort of let them do as they wish. I am pretty stern with my grandson, but I only have the one. But I can see a grandma letting the grown "kid" live with them and not try to rein them in. I hope that makes sense.

I hope I'm not being gross by saying this, but it's bothered me since day one. The slit on Travis' throat is not on his neck, but rather up under his chin. Has this been discussed before? I don't think he was dying when she slashed his throat. I feel like he pushed his head down very hard against his chest, and the only cut she could make was just under his chin. In other words, I think he knew what she was doing. Please tell me I'm wrong, and why I'm wrong. I want to believe I'm wrong.

I believe she cut him intentionally, and from behind.

With her ambidexterity, she grabbed his hair with one hand and yanked his head up. Then, with the knife in the other, she slashed his throat.

JA's arm is only so long and, from behind, happened to strike at that angle, whereupon she drew it across.

That's the most straightforward explanation for that fatal wound; one of the three which JA inflicted on Travis Alexander.

I believe that it's true, and I hope it helps.

I can draw a bath better than Arias. Especially since she'll never take another bath again. Only have showers in prison.

:great:

In her 48 hours interview JA said if she was convicted she knew wouldn't be first person to wrongly be convicted or sentenced and though she was still telling the ninja story then, even when she was up on the stand she made a similar comment. JA maintains that 'calm' attitude a fair bit in court including a lot of Duper's delight smiles.

However especially more of late we have seen a few more red noses after lunch breaks and chamber sessions. I think reality has hit her a bit and when she is convicted she may react a little but she won't show her main tears in public, possibly until the mitigating session when she has to turn on the emotion.

ETA in her 48 hours interview she also said she'd prefer the DP because she wouldn't want to spend the rest of her life in prison. I guess we'll find out if she still believes that!

Jodi has said many things. Jodi lies a lot. Jodi also claimed during one of her interviews with Flores that if she had killed Travis she would BEG for the death penalty. I personally am waiting on the begging to begin.

ETA: the red nose thing.....of course there would be a red nose after hearing that something wasn't going her way. Jodi cares about Jodi and no one else. Jodi cries real tears for herself and no one else. I still contend that Jodi believes that she will walk away from this as a free woman.

Just thinking to myself-

I know I don't offer much in the way of sophisticated analysis of the evidence and testimony in this case. That is OK. We do what we can.

However, I do frequently note to myself that, if I lost a person I loved in this horrific way, it'd be a comfort to me to know that strangers saw the injustice in it and cared enough about it to follow the case through to culmination, day in and day out.

This horrible thing, this life-changing loss has been noted and mourned by many, and I think we are all here to let the family know it can't happen without good people objecting with all of their hearts.

What a thoughtful and caring observation. Thank you for posting.

Earlier today someone posted a message from one of TA's sisters speaking of their gratitude and explaining how they appreciate the support and how they will be getting through the next difficult days.

Maybe someone can bump it up...please.

Regarding wheeling Grandma in 'for effect'....the last jury I served, the DT did the same thing. Only in my case, Grandma was well into her 80's, very feeble and just so sad to see...but it had ZERO effect on any of us. If any of us were empathizing with her, it never, ever entered into deliberations. Far as I could tell, it didn't even color any of the other jurors interpretation of any of the evidence. Nice try, DT, but it's not an effective tool.....

I've tried to figure it out on my own throat, but I have too many chins to do it. I don't understand how decomp can make the slash look higher up on his neck. To me, it appears to be almost on the jaw line. Maybe an inch, or less below it. I can see the cut going in just above his Adam's apple, since that would be consistent with pinching his neck down hard with his chin resting on his chest. I hope your right. I hope he was so far gone he didn't know what happened.

As someone else mentioned in another thread, I think Jodi thought she had everything completely planned out in her mind. She had a bag or container to put the bloody items in, knew how and when to attack, knew she wanted him cornered in the shower, knew what time she had to be completely out of there, etc. etc. And there is no way that the rental car was parked there in Travis' driveway. It was down the street somewhere or around the corner. She had plenty of time to carefully ferret out exactly what all the scenarios could be and how she would handle each. Pardon me if this has been mentioned 20 times already, but I just have to say IMO.

My question brought over from the last thread...

If you smell smoke, it's just the gears turning in my head. I too am of the opinion that she likely used a hunting knife. Question is...where did she get it? Are DB or MM known hunters? When she was arrested and they found the knives in her rental car, didn't she say she had to return one to MM?

JMO

Hunting is really popular in the area of Northern California where JA is from (Yreka/Redding). There are tons of hunters and hunting supplies are very easy to find in a lot of stores. Her grandfather may have had a few hunting knives laying around...

Yes, it's as effective as lowering the defendant's chair height so they look tiny and frail and dressing them like old-time librarians. Folks are on to your tricks, defense lawyers...
