I bet he is not handling these accounts in the year 2000

said he was there from 1999-2002... but good point....what is he doing now?

What was that prediction last night that someone made that the defense would be quick and to the point and not meander?

LOLOL. that was a good one!

The DPD FBI specialist... asking someone who was in the courtroom.

What was his PhD in, when did he publish his dissertation, and what University awarded his doctorate?

I would like to know that also. Many computer forensic guys are not graduates of computer technology schools or degreed in computer technology.

well, that is why we have his presentation of credentials which are not through.

Usually the 'educational credentials' are listed prior to the work experience credentials, unless the educational credentials are ongoing, which is of course prefereable. Continuing education & work experience = expert witness in most of the *real* world. At least that's been my experience.

When my husband testifed as an expert witness, his educational credentials were important, as well as his 'continuing education' and recent courses, training programs, certificates, etc.

It depends on what you are testifying on. If there is no educational program for the subject he is testifying about what educational credentials would you like for him to produce?

His professional experience is extensive and solid.

Will he include a "pull my finger" joke next?

Isn't this the guy who has been sitting next to Mr. Cooper throughout the trial?

OMG, this is so boring I could turn to eating again and wreck my diet. I won't mind missing this proffering this morning. Call me when the prosecution starts to cross:escape:.

NO!!!! You have done so well! He will have to be done sooner or later!

I heard that too and want to know as well.

I kinda took that as his way to work in the joke.

JW:"They say that the memory is the first thing to go."

Kurtz:"What's the first thing?"

JW:"I can't remember."

And then everybody will LOL (in his mind.)

He's definately eating this up.

Wonder if he ever applied to the FBI and how that turned out? Wouldn't it be something if he applied and was rejected by them?

Actually they were quick to bring their witness up. Now, it will take a while to voire dire him for the State. I still stand by that statement.

I thought he was on the list for some time according to Kurtz

Then why did they just hand over the discovery materials '5 minutes prior to court starting today'?

  • #114
'wonky' is a technical term. :loser:

  • #115
Witness is stuttering.

  • #116
surely the defense could have gotten an real expert..someone that doesn't use the terms wonky...my memory gets worse the older I get...

I'm embarrassed to confess you all have much purer hearts and minds than I do... ;o)

What a snooze fest!

Ask Kurtz not me. I am just watching this like you.

A self taught expert? No documented education for an EXPERT witness?

Right...because there are no experts without degrees. You know, people like Bill Gates. I guess he wouldn't be an expert either since he dropped out of college to form a little company called Microsoft out of his garage. I think experience means more to expert status than degrees.
