I think Klink is doing fine. With the hush puppy shoes he was offering alternatives, not asserting anything. There was no proof that JY's feet were in the shoes, and there is no other evidence to indicate that he was at the crime scene.

I think JY also testified that he thought MY donated the shoes to Good Will. I don't think he was certain what happened to them.

I think the better defense strategy would be to say "there is no evidence that JY's Hush Puppies left those prints. We don't even know how many of those shoes HP made with that sole - Mr. Riha couldn't answer that question. But for arguments sake, lets consider if it actually was those Orbitals JY once owned..."

He was disorganized and needed structure...yet he was able to successfully have his affairs and get away with affairs without his wife finding out. That shows he's a lot more organized than his defense is giving him credit for.

Thanks for chiming in from the other side, fromageball. I personally don't agree, but I appreciate another perspective.

So Jason couldn't have not left evidence but whoever DID kill Michelle could have?? I'm lost.

he just basically hammered the point home (to me at least) that the killer knew the house and how not to leave anything behind in it...

(and this is my first time following the case fwiw)

Let me try:

It may have been JY's young's sweater, the same one seen on video not found in his truck, but that DOES NOT mean JY was wearing it. BAM!

Check please!

Hope you'll be here all week!!

On the key card issue, that Survivor producer who probably murdered his wife while they were on vacay in Mexico, used his key card 11 times the night his wife was murdered.

So I'm thinking he didn't consult with JY on how to not disturb your hotel neighbors.

He did do a stooopid thing mailing the anniversary card from somewhere other than MY thought he was, while he was having his affair. Kinda' like not figuring out he'd need gas in his trip back home to kill his wife.

JMHO

I've researched my databanks and have never heard a closing like this - so far off the mark so far. Have you? Surely something like this has happened before?

I'm really surprised.

Ummmmm, :waitasec:

I got nothin'.

Aha. Klink finishing by saying the physical evidence doesn't point to JY.

Oops! He just said, "this unborn child that he k... that was so viciously killed" (paraphrase).

Now back to no physical evidence.

Is the defense theory that one person could only do so much wrong and JY had already maxed out his evil limit??

hmmm, just have to say, I don't feel anger when I think of JY.

I feel disgust, but I wouldn't exactly call it anger.

:(
just sayin'

Or did he do that on purpose? To make her angry? To make her wonder? It was only a few weeks before he brutally murdered her... so maybe it was an in your face gesture from the loving husband. Im of the opinion he was planning this for a long time. When exactly was that insurance upped? Around the time of the anniversary, right?

Yup. Proves that when JY thinks it will benefit him, he's very organized.

Klink: "There is no evidence pointing to JY in this case having killed his wife. Take a long hard look at the physical evidence...."

WHEW.
