Anything new over here? I am in TC-land over in Durham.

Is this all basically the re-hash of the emails, web searches, etc?

Yes. The computer expert is on the stand going over the emails and web searches

I understand.

I don't think "poor Jason" at all, I was just taken aback at the level of Linda's involvement, and Jason's mother, too. It's not a justification in the least, there's no justification for beating a pregnant woman to death. None. My comments wrt the mothers involvement was not an attempt to victimize Linda and I would never, ever suggest any of this is her fault. she bears no responsibility for what that animal did to Michelle.

My comments were about the factors of the marriage itself, not the murder.

I apologize for upsetting anyone.

Oh it's not you, my comments are a culmination of frustrations I have had since the beginning of the case and based on my frustrations of following so many cases and being close to other victim's and their families.

I've read many comments over the years from Jason supporters all over the web, disgusting comments made about Meredith and Linda and even insinuations that Michelle brought things on herself.

There's also the fear that Jason may get away with murder. Even if he's found not guilty, I will always believe and know, he did it.

I'm going to take a shot in the dark here, but I don't think MM think JY is guilty, thus there is no catalyst.

I don't think MM thinks at all.

She's just one big wiggle, batting eyes, and a go-to-he!! haircut.

I think in his warped mind he was justifying his affairs by putting blame on MY.

Lack of sex
Her mother
etc.

He was playing the victim and all these women fell for it.

Not anything new.....most guys who have affairs do.

Could be, then again, something about her is just...off, beyond just thinking JY is innocent. Something I can't put my finger on.

Maybe she got hit by a Coca Cola truck, too. But this time HER brain did roll out in the street....

Gracie, with all due respect, I suggest you read the posts before replying. I was responding to the post right above mine.

Thanks

If you are responding to a particular post, then you are to leave the QUOTE in your post. People's responses show up randomly on these boards, so unless you leave a quote you are responding to in, it's impossible to understand your replies. We aren't mind-readers here, for the most part. :seeya:

Absolutely, hallmark of an abuser. I think the reason this is infuriating me to the point that it is is because my ex was so verbally and emotionally abusive.... I feel for Michelle so much. What jy is doing to her is exactly what my ex did. He convinced me I was the one who needed help, that my mom, sisters were way to involved and they messed with my head and didn't have any business sticking their noses in, etc... All the same carp as jy. And like Michelle, I would agree with him, and I would put the fault on me... He ALWAYS told me once I got myself fixed, then we could work on all the other stuff. Just like jy...These people get in your heads.

Partially off topic, but not really. I took my dogs for their walk as soon as morning testimony wound up. Ever since the Brad Cooper trial, I often times get the creeps walking along our partially to heavily wooded road. I'm often times peering into the woods, searching for anything new or out of place. Especially when I walk the dogs down to the dead-end part of the road. It has a circle type, gravel turn around for UPS trucks and such. Looks very much like the Nancy Cooper dump site. :( On occasion there will be flocks of buzzards, or what ever you call them, flying in a circle above the densely wooded area. Just gives me the creeps. Once, when we first moved here, I attempted to walk into those woods a bit, just to see what was there, but it was too dense for me to handle my dogs in. Plus, now that we've been here awhile, I often times hear gunshots coming from the woods, so I figure, unless I'm wearing bright red or orange, I probably shouldn't be wandering around in those woods.

So has anyone learned how to delete files from the hard drive yet? I'm guessing smashing it with a sledge hammer would be the only way These files seem to follow us everywhere even when we think we deleted them. :pcguru:

It sounded to me like Michelle welcomed the help and just felt a lot of pressure from JLY To isolate from her family. She wanted Linda there the whole week before Christmas and wanted to have them there when they woke up Christmas morning. If she didn't want that, she wouldn't have been pushing for it to JLY, the email would have been more like: "I agree, we need to tell her to come on Christmas morning, how can we make her see that..."

My mom is also overbearing but after having children, I welcome her around a lot more. My husband at first was still uncomfortable with that until I explained that she was a help and comfort to ME as a new mom. Then he was a lot more supportive of it. Now we are very much able to have a balance after giving it time to figure everyone's roles out.

See, I compare MY's telling her mom anything about her marriage, vs JY telling someone. While MY talked about the most important thing to her, JY's lack of understanding anything she says, JY talked to everyone and their brother, sister, babysitter,, it was all MY and her lack of sex drive. Yet, he knew the bad experience she'd had in college. Complete lack of empathy. No understanding for anyone's feelings, except his own sex drive.

Unimaginable.

MY didn't have to tell her mom about their problems herself. He told everyone ELSE, so she could have probably found out at the corner liquor store. Or, just observe ONE TIME how he treated his wife, to see he wasn't really into MY. :( IMHO, the fact he didn't want Linda in the home for any length of time, because he couldn't keep his temper in check for more than a day. He would have knock down type screaming arguments with her mom in the house and within hearing distance of his rage. He couldn't keep what went on behind closed doors all within the confines of the marriage. Oh, sure, the lack of sex part went on behind closed doors, but that was HIS complaint, so ok for the world to see. But HIS FAULTS, were NOT to be discussed. :banghead:

I believe it boils down to MY was expecting another baby, another ball and chain, if you will, another $$ responsibility that would tie JY to MY for years, and years. He just wanted the honey and that's all. Drinking with his friends. Partying more than spending time with MY. What she wanted just didn't matter. He wasn't that much into MY. :(

Even techno extraordinaire, Brad Cooper, could not cover his murder plan tracks.

Sledge hammer would be my guess, or drowsing it in bleach for a few days. I can't think of another ways.

Well that March guy solved his computer problem. The hard drive just plumb disappeared and he had no idea what happened to it. Oh, along with his little old wife, he didn't know where she was either. :(

Course, he eventually got caught, but not for many years and many more persons being snagged into his life. :(
