I have never heard it ... not when I was convinced he was guilty and not now when I'm skeptical of the evidence.
Because it is not there.

thanks
I looked through the media thread & tried CNN
I actually have to shut down my computer now because I can't close the WRAL audio window ... will search again when I come back
Otto,
I agree. But Jason Youngs check in time and the camera time is withinin 3 minutes of each other.
Yet Keith Hicks testified today that the cameras could sometimes be off by about an hour! :waitasec:
Well okay then. Who or what do you believe? I still need someone to put Jason Young back in Raleigh!
The wide net that has been cast in regards to the TOD needed to be narrowed more for the prosecution than the defense, IMO.
I think that is why all the discombobulated time lines exist.
IDK, I just feel a very large piece of the puzzle is missing.
Because by 3:30 that afternoon, Jason was pretty much their man. And, with good reason. He sure did a lot of things leading up to the murder, that could not have made him look more guilty if he tried. He should have known all his phonecalls, texts, and emails and everything would come out, Emails are easy to trace., btw........:wink:And, sleeping with MM, how stupid was that?IMO

does someone have a link to the 911 call that is not WRAL?
their audio clips don't work for me ...
OK, we've had lots of people join this thread recently who didn't see the first trial and are not local, so I wasn't sure if you were familiar with the Cooper trial from last year. Yes, Cooper had a different prosecution team, but the trial dragged on forever and this judge specifically said he wouldn't allow the JLY trial to be a repeat of that. That was the point I was making in why the prosecution seemed to be rushed last time around.
Textbook sociopath, tarheel
He often ventured to eastern Tennessee for the really wacky stuff.....

The camera may have had the correct time associated with it at 11:20, but after it was plugged in, if there were often time code errors, there's no guarantee that the time code was correct. The night audit clerk testified in the first trial that he noticed that the camera was pointed at the ceiling 15-20 after it was plugged in, but police have it pointing at the ceiling about an hour and 15 minutes later?

In response to your first sentence:
Why were you looking at the crime scene photos if you didn't want to? Were you forced to?
In response to your second sentence:
Some people may look at real crime scene photos because they care about justice for the victims and they are seekers of truth. Those are not bad qualities to have, imo.
If it had been one of my family members who was murdered, I would be so grateful to LE and other people for caring enough to seek out the truth so that justice would be served.
I would appreciate what JTF has done. He doesn't do what he does for glory; he does it because he cares. and he does it because it's the right thing to do. We should all be so dedicated to seeking justice and truth.
Police were looking for any witnesses that had seen activity at the property up until 6 AM the day the murder was discovered.
It seems that the defense caught the fact that the prosecution played most of the 911 call, but not all of it, and therefore it was replayed this morning.
TOD is so important, especially in this case.
The state needs for the murder to occur somewhere around 3am.
What we do know is there was computer activity close to midnite,
and if Michelle had lived until am, the exterior lights would have been turned off.
IMO
I also think MY's murder was not planned, and that she was killed for either fighing back or the killer(s) not wanting to be identifed.

Otto,
I can't help but agree again.
Why 6 am when Jason was suppose to have purchased gas in King between 5:15 and 5:30 am?
Again that timeline.
Does the state really need for it to be around 3am? Really? Think about that. :what:
Maybe LE just took the 6:30 am camera tilted to the ceiling incident and figured out where Jason would have to be approx be in his travels, subtracted the hour and landed in King, NC at 5:30 with Gracie?
Something else to remember, and this is important.( to me,anyway, lol)
If Jason had come into the gas station at a time, when it was slow or there was very little activity, I could see her story make sense.
But, there were customers in and out within a minute of him.
One minute!!
