The fans were running in the living room and there was some kind of reddish stain, apparently. I have never heard Josh's explanation, except that he told his sister it must be a juice or koolaid stain. I'm sure LE asked him about it, though. He probably told them Susan must have done it while he was out camping in the middle of the night.

There has to be DNA evidence if blood was spilled. There's no way he could have managed to clean it spotless.
Maybe, LE knows it's her blood and hasn't revealed it yet publicly.

They both went mysteriously quite after the last search of the WA home. I really don't think it's so much that they are listening to their lawyer, they're all just boxed into a corner (and JP knows it), gritting their teeth and hunkering down, waiting for the next shoe to fall. Finally, and too late, they've learned to keep their mouth shut! That father was just crazy for all the stuff he said.

We probably won't hear much from JP for quite a while, if at all.

If he was smart he'd call a lawyer workout a deal for taking them to Susan's body and hope he's out in 25-30 years while his kids are still alive.

Hypnosis recovers amazing details of forgotten memories. Everything you have ever heard / experienced is still in "storage" in the subconscious. It just needs to be accessed.

I know this. I am a certified hypnotherapist, among other things. I have seen mind boggling things.

Some of the most memorable things I have seen are the memories recalled that solve crimes and the insurance company's use of hypnosis to retrieve detail of car accidents. One person who had no memory of the minutes after his car wreck was able to retrieve the license plate number of the person who stopped in front of him, then drove away. That person was then found and called as a witness in a trial. In another case, a woman retrieved the memory of a badge number of a "policeman" who had assaulted her. Again, that information proved vital in a trial. I could go on and on and on.

Counselors sometimes use hypnosis as a diagnosis and treatment option with people who have experienced trauma. Hmmm.....

Those diapers just might come in handy for Joshy.

I'm very leery of counselors talking to children ever since the McMartin School debacle.

This is what I was thinking of in one of my other posts; the McMartin School debacle (debacle it was). I'm sure the pros are already well aware of this and will hopefully prevent a similar fiasco from happening in this situation.

I'm not so sure. The same mistakes are made over and over. The only way it would work, IMO, is if the kids give some information that was unknown and could be proven true.

It's very unlikely anything the children say would be used in direct testimony. You are right on about their information being used in investigating and in finding OTHER ways to bring the information in.

Wish we knew what they all had to drink that evening. Hot chocolate? JoVonna did say that Josh took the time to clean up a spill while she was there, but didn't say if it was in the living room where the fan was directed or who had the spill. I think we all took for granted it was the children, but it could have been Susan. imo

The only difference is JP didn't continue to talk to LE, he stopped. Nor did he run to Canada, sell his car and leave his kids behind. Just taking a guess, but I don't think he will talk unless 1. he is arrested for same charges his father is now locked up for...and 2. he had nothing to do with her demise, then tells all on SP. Otherwise, I don't think he will talk. It's a tough call at this time because we don't know if there is any evidence pointing to him in the , etc He knows if he doesn't talk the Coxes will more likely (forever, imo) keep custody of the boys and he will get visitation only. There's all kinds of human behavior(s) taking place here. Between his father and him, him and the boys, whatever was left between him and Susan (yes, there naturally would be) and then the Coxes. If they do get to talk to him their advantage is SP is no longer around and Josh SHOULD realize some of the decisions his father made turned out not to be so wise and be ? his direction to him in other matters; and JP's own attachment/control of the boys. All his previous shields are down...unless the other members or siblings pick up where SP left off. ?? Slim chance, imo.
