I just wanted to quickly recommend the following episode of the new series "Killer Instinct" (real life cases taken on by FBI profiler Mark Safarik) - it is free to watch and I guarantee you will be glad you watched if you follow the Powell case. This is the case of Steven Long, who reported his wife missing as well. The parallels to this case are striking, and I felt like my perspective on the Powell case enhanced from watching this. One way my perspective changed is I see a lot of movements by LE that appear much more timed, much more strategic and much more brilliant than before. I am currently curious if the FBI came in on this case in mid 2011, or at least someone fresh did IMO, as that is when the chess moves really start up. MOO.
This is a brilliant new series by the way. This is the real deal, a real FBI profiler, real cases, real evidence, and helpful reenactments. The information provided is straight out of the FBI profiling books I have read, so these episodes are educational to say the least. I swear this is the ultimate series for websleuthers! Viewer discretion advised.
