Another Steve Irwin fan here. What a huge loss, the world could use a million more Steve Irwins. It would be a much better place, IMO. RIP mate.

Too right! I am looking forward to it, if that makes sense. I think we all need this, well I know I do. loldingo said:Thanks Shelly......it is still so sad and hard to beleive.
Im pleased they are televising the memorial, its sure to be a great tribute to Steve.
Like his dad said..it will be a day of fun and laughter..a day to remember the good times.
It's a funny thing but I do not feel the level of sadness at Brockys death. I think because he was older, although 61 is still too young. I lost my Dad at 60 so I definately feel for his kids and Julie. I really don't know, I have accepted his death but cannot accept that Steve is gone.dingo said:I know what you mean Shelly..its going to be a bitter sweet day.
We also have to get through Brockies funeral on tuesday.
Awww Narla :blowkiss: I thought of you when I read that. I am so sorry you won't be able to go.narlacat said:Don't they mean it will be televised in the park on the day?
I am so disapponited it is at Australia Zoo, it's just too far to go during the school week and the tickets are probably already gone.
So many people are going to miss out on going now.
But Terri says to bear with them and make it happen, so I'll stop whinging.
Steve was certainly one of a kind....there will be no replacing him.Shelly Beach said:It's a funny thing but I do not feel the level of sadness at Brockys death. What I loved about Steve was his love for Terri, Bindi and Bob and his absolute love of life and the animal world. He showed such passion and the more I have read these last 10 days the more I have grown to love him.
I truly feel that the world has lost an amazing human being.![]()
I deadset was gonna do that for you Dingodingo said:The memorial starting at 9am next wednesday will be televised throughout Australia and America.

I understand Terri's decision but a part of me feels that there will be so many people like you, who want to go but can't.
I guess we will all have to watch it on tele and support each other here at WS.![]()
If you believe in God, he had a purpose for Steve in life and death.Shelly Beach said:It's a funny thing but I do not feel the level of sadness at Brockys death.
