Even though I'm thrilled that the boys are out of that environment, I hate the thought of how scared and confused they must be to be in foster care. I hope someone they know is allowed to see them. As long as it's supervised, I'd even be okay with Josh talking to them for a minute - just to say, "Look. Everything is going to be okay. This is just for a few days. Lots of people love you!" (Unfortunately, I doubt that would be all he'd have to say. I imagine it would be followed by something to the effect of, "Your grandpa Chuck is trying to destroy our family, and keep us from being together.")

Those poor kids have been through enough. Who knows what they've been told about the Coxes? They're going to have to have therapy and time to get to where they can trust anyone whose last name isn't Powell. But for now, my heart breaks that they are essentially getting punished for things with which they have nothing to do.

No, please keep Josh away also. I can imagine the number of times he has reminded them they went "camping" in the snow that night. I wonder about the "mommy ouchee" too.

Here is another important thing that happened today.

In order to have the right to publish and slander his missing and probably dead wife Josh Powell went to court today and plead to a judge.

He did this after the State of WA came in and took his children away from him. Instead of trying to figure out how to get his kids back or camped out at the door of child services he was standing in a courtroom wanting to get permission to trash his children's mother.

This will be a big point in the custody hearing in favor of the Cox's.

Now I'm wondering about something someone posted earlier about maybe her being given heart medications or something (because she was so cold). Perhaps the child saw her grab her chest in pain that night from the drugs she may have ingested in the pancakes.

Does anyone think It's possible that Good old Pop's here may have done something to susan all on his own . Im talking like full 100 percent his own responsability and Josh 0 percent is that a possabillity ..?

Finally someone sees the light!

Dr. Fessel Thank you for that info. I think without Daddy Dearest Josh may make a lot of mistakes now. Let us hope so anyway. Yes, Pops could be the perp.
I don't know if Josh would have drugged her for Pop to have his way or not....that does not compute here. MOO.

WOW what do they know that they fired him rather than place him on leave pending an investigation? Good Gravy!

My guess? Work computer.

There is also the wet spot on the carpet to consider. I believe JP said his sister cleaned up the spot - did she ever get asked if that was true?

Without the money coming in I don't see Josh having a lawyer anymore. This is not the kind of stuff a state has to give him a lawyer for.

Really JP went to the hearing after the boys were taken away?

If thats the case then you are right BAMMM

Possibly, but it's probably just that because he was working for the Dept. of Corrections, LE let them know he would be arrested next week and why.

I haven't finished reading the entire thread, so my apologies if somebody already had this thought. The time of these videos is rather old. I can't imagine him stopping with photos and video. After a while, he would cease to be satisfied with using a camera. He would want to touch a child. With the amount of images left to examine, they could very well come up with more serious images than the sick things they already have seen.

I am afraid that we will be hearing of more victims of more serious acts.

Finally someone sees the light!

And JP's reason for not going to LE and telling them about it is what?

I mean he stood by while his father claimed in media that he and Susan had a 'thing' going, and it was mutual. JP never said a word even when it got so that it made JP look ridiculous for not putting a stop to it.

Now there is evidence that SP was into voyuresm and child 🤬🤬🤬🤬 and I would have to wonder just how much JP knew about that. Did he ever report it to LE?

As far as I have seen he has never spoken against his father in any way, indeed he has defended him. To the point that I have wondered if perhaps SP had something over JP to keep him quiet.

Because of the kind of work he did going into schools and stuff I bet he had to be bondable. He would lose a bond for getting arrested.

He does not have custody of the boys so he can't get TANF, or whatever the WA equivelancy is. He can get EBT/SNAP but I doubt any welfare support for himself; if he becomes homeless, he can go to a shelter. His brother Michael, the politico, may take him in, other than that he is twisting in the wind.

Well I bet the Cox family is looking for an apartment as we speak. I think it is an unfair burden to put on the Susan's family I can't imagine they aren't doing everything in their power to be in a position of receiving those boys come Wednesday. It is going to be a tough five days for them and the boys. :(

I keep seeing it stated that the Cox grandparents must relocate, but I have not seen this mentioned anywhere but here at WS. Is there a link to a document stating this requirement, grandmaj?

I likely have just missed seeing it (I am still unpacking from a move, caring for the granddaughter and trying to rest in between by reading here--needless to say, I am just a tad frazzled! LOL).

I'm thinking the son who is reported as being bi-polar and schizophrenic is probably receiving some social security. So that would mean some income into the home.

This was barely worth posting since there's so little to see or hear, but here's video of him in court today.

I haven't seen a link either dear. But I'll check around. Take good care of yourself and that baby!

Is there a link to a fund to help the Coxes financially through this battle? We are happy to donate to help and I'm sure others would as well. I know there are links here to donate food and supplies for searches. TIA
