TX Suzanne Clark Simpson missing in San Antonio, last seen by friends at dinner - 6 October 2024 *Arrest* #2

This is becoming terribly infuriating!!! It's clear Brad murdered Suzanne, but because he hid her so well - the prosecution is going to have to tip thier hand in the upcoming hearing. Sometimes justice is not just elusive, its missing altogther.
This cannot end up like the Colorado debaucle, I refuse to even consider it.

You said it, Knox. In spades.
How long will this you-know-what last?
Is Brad just sitting back in his little cell just chillin' ?
Grrrrr.

In my humble opinion, I think that a well hidden body smacks of premeditation or possible collaboration with someone with prior experience in hiding bodies. Buying stuff at Home Depot the morning after supports an impulsive killing, but that doesn’t mean he hadn’t in the past considered the best way to get rid of a body should he need to, he just may not have known when it would be necessary.

I'm not worried. Yes, it would be much better to have a body, but there is an overwhelming amount of evidence against this guy here. This is nothing like Morphew, as that one consisted of a bunch of small little pieces. The pieces are much larger here, and they are beyond compelling.

Tipping their hand doesn't matter. The defense is going to be privy to that evidence, so we are the only ones who are going to be learning anything new. I think this case is stronger than we already know.

I also wonder how much more than they have than the original affidavit. As we saw in the KB case, a whole lot more surprising info. Was later revealed to seal the deal. Moo

Exactly. Similarly, I think it's possible that this case also contains a material witness.

I think they may know what happened to her body and it is not recoverable, for whatever reason we are not privy to. Thinking back to Kelsey B, one single tooth ! was all that remained if my memory serves me right. I hope for SS children this is not the case.

Agree. And his internet history must be interesting since he burned those devices and laptop. Maybe he had a Google account and the chrome search history goes bak …they track everything. Also various apps like Amazon capture everything . Amazon sidewalk captures the people around you and their activity too. Cotters phone could be a doorway into Brad’s Internet history too. The kids may have had family sharing access too .

Yes, and that's something they wouldn't necessarily have at the time of the AA. It takes time to receive that information, and then analyze it. I can't imagine how much electronic evidence there is going to be in this case.

It's also possible that someone saw the body, or was told what happened, but Brad did the disposal on his own. That's what happened in the Berreth case too, as Krystal Kenney was there for the burning but didn't know what Frazee did with it after that.

Krystal Kenney was deplorable but her knowledge was the key to Frazee being charged with murder ( he was so much worse than a murderer with his jail house hit list) and allowing the prosecutors success in getting justice for Kelsey B and her family. Cotter may turn out to be the KK of the Simpson case.10-0 odds BS does not write a note in jail.

"Realtor Suzanne Simpson's husband
showed 'no emotion'
in aftermath of her disappearance, court documents claim."

Keep in mind too the at&t & Verizon have the master “ find my device “ capability with ALL OUR DECICES combined into one visual …so the LE can see anyone’s phone (and implicitly any person w each) location on those tower ping snapshots of the network. I’m data visualization this could show other nearby witnesses heretofore unmentioned. A treasure trove of people who could be interviewed even if just innocent bystanders who say something . LE has more than we know for sure given the resources on this one. It’ll be revealing once it all comes out. Her sisters media interviews reveal a great deal by how emphatic she is at early stages of the investigation. A lot more is known than is said for sure.

I was curious if the bug repellant was reported as found in his truck or at the residence. It was reported as purchased along with the cement, trash bags, red bucket etc.
The bug repellant is never mentioned again. Did he spray her body with the bug repellant to avoid flies and insects, and if so why would he need the bug repellant if he put her body in water. Speculating he put her in a shallow grave covered with rocks. If he put her in a dry creek or dry river bed and covered her with rocks the cement was to make sure her body did not float or wash up in case of a flash flood rain. IMO it would be near impossible to put a corpse feet in a bucket and keep it stable until the cement set up. I would like to know the science behind bug spray versus cadaverine.
I was reading somewhere that the bug repellent can throw off the dogs from the scent. Apparently citronella is particularly two dogs senses. So it could be that he doused our dear Suzanne in the repellent to throw the dogs off the trail.

Which means he remains could well be in an area LE and canines already searched.

where the only "spent tool" not already back in the truck was possibly just the orange 5-gallon Home Depot bucket, now with concrete residue on it.
BTW, here's one tip related to the concrete residue (which the affidavit wrongly refers to as "cement splashes", since Quikrete is technically concrete, not cement). The affidavit points out these splashes/residues were found "in the rear passenger compartment". IMO, this suggests Brad likely returned to the passenger side door of his black pickup truck AFTER having mixed and poured the concrete. Along with the fact that he drove and likely parked on the right side of the road, this suggests that Suzanne's body is, for both of these reasons, likely located on the RHS of a nearby road.

Say, for example, if Brad turned north on to Peaceful Valley Rd from TX-16 and then stopped his truck on the right-hand shoulder (say just short of that 1-lane bridge over the Medina River as visible in Google StreetView), then he is more likely to have done the burial on the right side of that road. But this same logic works no matter what road he used, just before parking the truck (TX-16, Highland Dr, Peaceful Valley Rd, etc.). In all cases, it's more likely that he would pull to the RHS (to be aligned with traffic when he parked) and it is also consistent with that idea, that the spent Quikrete bag and/or dirty Home Depot bucket went back into the truck on the passenger side, so he never needed to cross the road and potentially be seen carrying these suspicious items. In summary, it means on roads going to the west (like a lot of TX-16), more searching should be done on the north side of the road. Similarly, it means on roads going to the north (like a lot of Peaceful Valley Rd, for example), more searching should be done on the east side of the road.
