The damn is located on private property. All of that area is private property and most likely fenced and gated. It's not uncommon for property owners to damn up a creek like that to create a bigger water feature. I doubt there is much, if any, water currently in there. We're in a severe drought.
That was exactly what I was going to say...I know there are pics of a full reservoir online, but I really doubt its anything like the pictures. I followed the road and to the dam and I agree, it's all private property and guaranteed fenced. You can see many entrances to properties with gates and such...its south-central Texas. We all have fences and gates.

Well that’s not good… they better find her body soon.
Sounds like his attorney has asked for a hearing to determine whether there's (still) probable cause to (continue to) hold him in custody.

That's a pretty damning probable cause affidavit -- I don't think he's going anywhere.

What could have possibly changed from the first probable cause? Pardon my ignorance if I’m missing something obvious

That is an incredible statement and speaks to the love and care the family has for Suzanne and the children. What an awful human being the husband is. No mercy when it comes to criminal proceedings.... JMHO.
Wow

What direct evidence is there that ties BS to the murder of Suzanne?

What evidence is there to say Suzanne is even dead?

Her body or some of her blood found somewhere would help the cause.

I don’t know- my question was if the probable cause was good enough yesterday, what changed- I’m probably missing something obvious-

And didn't he just get there?

... Brad Simpson’s public defender filed a motion for an examination trial. That means they want a hearing to go over evidence to prove it is strong enough for a grand jury and indictment.

All defendants in Texas have a right to request an examining trial, which usually happens early in a criminal case... State statutes say the judge can determine one of three outcomes, which are committing the accused to jail, discharging him or admitting him to bail.

A junk hauler was seen out front of the Simpson home in Olmos Park, with some items being taken out of the house.

When asked if this was in preparation of the house to be sold, Brad's brother Bart Simpson said the home might go up for sale "possibly next year."

That would work!

There are also private properties backing up to the lake/reservoir that he could have accessed.

It’s hard to overlook Suzanne’s own words. “If I ever go missing, look in a lake.”

There are pictures of an eclipse party on Suzanne's FB page. Anyone know if that's their property where it was held?

So the blue tarp wasn't in the truck when he dropped the daughter off at school. It showed up at the Whattaburger in Boerne a little over an hour later.

Who know what he needed that Kendall County dump site for bc a previous post makes it look like a recycling site,

What are the ages of the other three children? Are all four children Brad's? Do any of the other 3 live at home with Suzanne?

Let’s hope not, would be a terrible precedent to set. Do a stellar job killing your wife, then hiding her body- you’re home free. No body, no case.

The children are 20, 18, 15, and 5. The younger two still live at home; presumably the older two are in college. Paywall free link to the Express-News article with this information: https://archive.fo/ZNpZk

Per Bexar County public records, the Simpsons married in 2002. Search

Based on marriage date and ages, there is no reason to think anything other than that all four children were born of the marriage.
