Thank you again. So sorry I got confused about asking about the photos. I’ve been looking at a few missing people this morning and I had seen them, but got a bit muddled. It must have seemed like I was too lazy to find them myself. Sorry again.

Investigated as suspected kidnapping

Not linked to Eirin's death during Christmas 2019
According to information to Aftonbladet, Maline, during the evening before the disappearance, must have been at the same club as 43-year-old Eirin who during Christmas 2019 disappeared in Landskrona and was later found dead.
But according to Persson, there is nothing in the investigation to indicate that Eirin's death and Maline's disappearance were related.

Really sad news. Sorry I'm so late to the thread, guys. I'm home in the US, and my Wifi is garbage. Only periodically checking in.
If I see any pertinent news about this case on Twitter, or any SM, I'll come back and post, and I'll def be back to see how this transpires.
I find the previous Landskrona case a couple of Christmas's ago very interesting! That's a giant coincidence, imo.

My condolences to Maline's loved ones.
If she was found in an industrial area as posted above, I find it unlikely she went there on her own for whatever reason. If foul play is involved, I hope the perpetrator will be brought to justice.
I still find the similarities to Eirin's death too coincidental.

I feel the same way, I find it too coincidental for Maline and Eirin to disappear with so many similarities and both found dead in such a small town. Now we have to wait for the autopsy results and hope it will shine some light on what happened to her.

I agree. Both Maline and Eirin’s disappearances are very strange and the similarities are disturbing. I was particularly taken by the fact that they looked so alike and both disappeared and were found dead at similar times of year. I hope the police look into every possible eventually. In the meantime, my thoughts are with both families. This is a terrible tragedy for Maline’s family and friends and a terrible reminder for Eirin’s.

I read today that the autopsy results should be available on Friday, and at that time a decision will be made regarding "kidnapped" or other reason for missing that resulted in death.
