"A 12-year-old boy is suspected of the shooting death in Malmö. According to Sydsvenskan, the boy himself contacted the police on Saturday, a few hours after the crime took place.
In the conversation, the boy identified himself and also gave a story about what happened on the night of the murder, according to the newspaper's sources. Four people were shot that night. A 21-year-old man died.

According to Sydsvenskan, the police suspect that several people were involved. The police are now looking for more perpetrators, and the person who ordered the crime. it makes me sad that criminal organisations are using these young and often vulnerable teens. jmo.

Organised crime networks are increasingly recruiting young people to carry out violent offences.

Exploiting youth is a criminal countermeasure that creates a buffer between the criminal activity and the network’s core members. This helps the core members remain anonymous and avoid law enforcement’s radar. For criminal networks, youngsters are low-risk and disposable assets.

Recruited youth becomes trapped in a criminal lifestyle. Not only is it hard for them to break free, but they will often drag people in their environment into the same illicit orbit.

It is terrible that they are roped in when so young.

According to Swedish law anyone under the age of 15 cannot be punished for any crimes. This is a big part why many criminal organisations choose children to carry out any type of crime really. It is very normal for under 15 year old's to do drug runs and such, but these past few years it's turned more violent.

I would assume that authorities are reassessing these laws. These drug rings and drug running via youngsters??? Really.

I don't really follow law changes or so anymore as much, but from what i could find that there was a motion presented earlier this year to the government that the law should be changed that the age for "straffmyndighet" should be lowered to14 years for crimes that carry a prison sentence of at least four years.

idk how much of a difference that will make honestly.

And this is something that has been an issue for many many years, it's been an issue for a long time. And now the kids who are being roped into these "jobs" literally don't have any choices, they are not able to leave. At least not alive; see the murders of 14 year old boys Mohamed and Layth.
