But if it were in regards to the jail guards, what convincing argument could be made where KC's rights would NOT be violated for not allowing defense to be present, and why would a judge be inclined to agree? That doesn't make sense to me...

I believe the fact it was just released is because they ARE done with the investigation and time is running out for them to release all discovery to the defense (as required). Strickland allowed them leeway in holding this from release through discovery, but the clock is ticking quickly...

Will be interesting to see what, if any, ramifications come out of investigation....

I got really curious about these two case numbers. After doing some unsuccessful messing around with the Orange County Clerk's site (criminal and civil cases, plus a look into KC's records), I decided to try google (lol).

The case numbers are for OSCO LE. The first two digits refer to the year, ie 10 = 2010.

10-86155 is OSCO's investigation of L Buchanan. See the last line of Muzikman's post at

08-74777 is OSCO's case number for KC felony investigations. I base this surmise on the page results for google. A quick glance down the results list shows case-related interviews and associated LE personnel.

So far, it looks as if a separate case number has not been opened for tampering, obstruction, etc.

I also think it speaks to JB's brazenness. Much like Casey it appears JB has never been called on the carpet about his lying or he would have thought twice about lying in open court.

Much like CM openly threatening a presiding judge, JB is also showing cojones the size of Texas. It takes a lot of arrogance to pull that off in a Court of law. Watch that clip again of him in Court. He lied and lied big time in open Court to a CHIEF Judge and he didn't even blink twice. It was a brazen thing to do and was the stupidest thing he could have done.

My exact thoughts as well. The nerve! Who does he think he is? Between Casey, JB and Scott Peterson I don't know which one would take first place.

Nothing JB does shocks me any more! But lying in court when the person you are lying about, Brad Conway, is sitting in the same court room just PROVES to me that JB has zero ethics. I never thought he did. But the entire way JB has sleazed through this case should concern HHJP, JAC and whatever organizations care about ethics.

I have no doubt WFTV will be all over this story soon. WESH is too concerned with getting a defense "exclusive": which translates into JB opens his mouth and blatantly lies and WESH runs with it! I am pleased to see all of the commentors at the Orlando Sentinel praising WSers and MM for getting the disks and posting this information.

Nothing JB does shocks me either. But what does shock me is that BC let it happen and didn't immediately contact the judge or SA after the hearing if it wasn't possible then. It's easy to see how the Anthony's and JB were able to railroad him if he just lies down when this stuff was happening with the excuse that "he didn't want to derail the trial." To me that just isn't good enough. When you are being shocked and whining about ethics - some immediate action would have been a whole lot more convincing instead of weasling along playing the victim.:banghead:

I remember Diana Tennis telling the court, look the Anthonys can waive their confidentiality agreement and he will answer any question posed to him. I always wanted a reporter to ask mom and pop...you claim you want the truth, let Dom tell it, what gives?

Now, the hearing on the defense wanting Joe Jordan's photos, etc makes more sense. WOW. Jose was so animated naming off for the judge what Joe has done, and he made sure to put it on the record that Joe had committed a felony by taping Mort, et al.

Four minute mark....Mark Nejame sets out that Baez very inappropriately went around him to contact TES, so this little stunt of the defense has been going on for some time. Strawberry, it is here that Jose Baez tells the court that Mark Nejame is violating ethics by representing mom and pop and then TES. Later in the hearing, Brad rolls up and lets the judge know that what Baez just claimed is NOT CORRECT, his clients assert no such thing! So , it turns out this is one of two, that we know of, times that Jose has went around the lawyer for mom and pop to get what he wants from them!

Okay, just WOW.

1. I can't stand AB. She sounds like Cindy with a law degree. And KS played the part of George. Sheesh. I swear, I could just SEE AB squeezing his leg to get him to either not talk or say what she wanted him to say. I wonder if she rubbed his back, too.

2. LOVED LDB explaining to AB that AB can't participate. Good Lord, you'd think she just wanted to have a blanket objection to everything and not let KS say one word.

3. LOVED that AB did not want to put in the same category as AL. That cracked me up. Sorry AB, you could be her twin. I about gagged when she said she wanted her own category. Whatever, AB, in your dreams.

4. AB also had a complete mistrust of the prosecutor's office. If I didn't know better, I'd think she was part of Casey's defense team. Is it common for defense attorneys to hate the SA? I wouldn't think so, but sheesh, she seemed to be convinced that the SA was out to get KS, a small, tiny fish to fry in the parallel investigation that's not connected to Casey's case. Lord.

5. Dang, the volleying going on was worse than watching a tennis match. I think I hurt my neck with the rampant back and forth. Good Lord were both AB and KS dancing and dodging like idiots! AB especially came off as really unprofessional. I so wanted her to just SHUT UP.

6. I loved that they seemed shocked that what Joe Jordan said was public record. Wow that was fast for KS to FINALLY start talking, and AB to shut up somewhat. So much dodging and probably lying before that, and then wait, he went public? Oh Crap. Now we're talking, SA! LOL.

7. Well guess what AB and KS, THIS INTERVIEW IS PUBLIC NOW and you both look like FOOLS. Wow, slime on top of slime on top of slime in this case! They both should really start acting more professional and less like outright jerks with something to hide. And KS, seriously, be a man and talk for yourself instead of looking whipped by your female attorney!

No, IIRC that video was when JB was claiming that the Anthony's objected to MN representing TM after representing them, and BC stated "No" that is not the case.

Hal Boedeker excused the media for not covering it with:

- it was the weekend
- it was a big doc dump

But that does not explain the universal silence about this one issue! The media is covering every single other item that has so much as a hint of bombshellitude (and granted, we were greatly gifted with same in this dump)--which makes it all the more glaringly obvious that none of them are covering the biggest bomb of all!

Can someone tweet Rad or KB and ask them to opine?

Otherwise the only explanation that makes sense IMO is a combination of wanting to protect BC's reputation (does the "no snitchin'" rule apply in legal circles as well as on the street? is BC now a rat?) and not wanting to sidetrack the trial at hand.

Or has LE asked for a media blackout?

Especially after Kathi B. confronted JB about the documents. JB denies that he's came across the fraudulent document of LB's. Kathi questions him as to why not since this is a Death Penalty case(summarized)

Now, we read that he lied. He has been in on this from the beginning.
