In her latest deposition, Buchanan now claims she doesn't know where the remains were and may have only gotten within 35 feet.

Earlier, she produced a form for defense investigator Mort Smith to support the credibility of her claims.

In the deposition, Buchanan admitted to keeping the Texas EquuSearch form she was supposed to turn in and later altering it.

It does make you wonder if these failed attempts, like Kronking RK, spooking JJ, leveraging LB, fishing in TES, etc are working ... in as much as the future Jury pool is being polluted (i.e., opened up to other possibilities) and the playing field really levelled or ... if this is just doing a lot more damage than good?

What resonates most in the people's psyche ... :waitasec: the original propaganda from the Defense or ... :waitasec: the debunking by media and blog revelations?

If I was only partly paying attention to this case ... would I remember the Defense claims or ... the repeated body slams that question the Defense credibility ... never mind their message? It gets lost in the scandal.

In hindsight JB rejecting the gag order hurts the Defense more and more as this plays out. :crazy:

If we could google her and learn of her troubled nature, surely the defense could have to, and I am sure did, so they knew this was a flakey, shady prospect, imo. The amount of money, time and resources that her lie generated just screams out for criminal charges. Of course I want everyone involved in perpetuating it lined up and held accountable too. Please, don't make me name them!

As a juror, some of this dust-up might rattle around my head initially. But then the State will present its opening statement. And at the end, their closing statement.

31 days.

No call.

Partying, stealing, never a mention to anyone of Caylee in danger.

A car that was only in KC's possession with the smell of death in the trunk.

And hopefully a big blown up photo of Caylee's skull as it was recovered, next to one of her in life.

When the dust settles these are what the jurors will remember. This current stuff is all a hectic, desperate side show on the defense's behalf. When your ship is sinking, you grab at anything you can...

Okay, just WOW.

1. I can't stand AB. She sounds like Cindy with a law degree. And KS played the part of George. Sheesh. I swear, I could just SEE AB squeezing his leg to get him to either not talk or say what she wanted him to say. I wonder if she rubbed his back, too.

2. LOVED LDB explaining to AB that AB can't participate. Good Lord, you'd think she just wanted to have a blanket objection to everything and not let KS say one word.

3. LOVED that AB did not want to put in the same category as AL. That cracked me up. Sorry AB, you could be her twin. I about gagged when she said she wanted her own category. Whatever, AB, in your dreams.

4. AB also had a complete mistrust of the prosecutor's office. If I didn't know better, I'd think she was part of Casey's defense team. Is it common for defense attorneys to hate the SA? I wouldn't think so, but sheesh, she seemed to be convinced that the SA was out to get KS, a small, tiny fish to fry in the parallel investigation that's not connected to Casey's case. Lord.

5. Dang, the volleying going on was worse than watching a tennis match. I think I hurt my neck with the rampant back and forth. Good Lord were both AB and KS dancing and dodging like idiots! AB especially came off as really unprofessional. I so wanted her to just SHUT UP.

6. I loved that they seemed shocked that what Joe Jordan said was public record. Wow that was fast for KS to FINALLY start talking, and AB to shut up somewhat. So much dodging and probably lying before that, and then wait, he went public? Oh Crap. Now we're talking, SA! LOL.

7. Well guess what AB and KS, THIS INTERVIEW IS PUBLIC NOW and you both look like FOOLS. Wow, slime on top of slime on top of slime in this case! They both should really start acting more professional and less like outright jerks with something to hide. And KS, seriously, be a man and talk for yourself instead of looking whipped by your female attorney!

That was a tiring read. I think I'm done for the rest of the day...and who was CM, by the way? I'm assuming that wasn't Cheney Mason.

Yeah, but the only people they are ultimately throwing under the bus is KC's defense team. Would anyone be surprised if the jury comes back with a finding to give KC LWOP but opts for the DP for her lawyers? :loser:
