I don't understand how the A's can claim ownership of the tape when both JH and DC have stated that they volunteered their time and worked for free.

I'll just say one thing. Let's assume you are right and the local teens call that place "HOLT" as an acronym. The immediate problem for her is that many of them probably are following this case and listening to these tapes. If they heard her say holt instead of home - it is likely that the tip line would light up with all of them telling LE that Casey just used the word HOLT instead of home. There ain't no nannys at HOLT, so you better go find Caylee's body over there pronto.

Agreed. I sent a PM to a WSer who might really know the answer. Even if not relevant now, it might be good to know in case we need it later. You never know what might be useful or extraneous.....it is all so bizarre!

An attorney's privilege with his client extends to agents working on his behalf. This covers the office staff that will see some of the communications. If the attorney hires a PI, the communication relayed to him is under the privilege umbrella. But regardless of what has been said here they would need to be under contract, with the attorney directly. Even if it was pro bono for some reason you would still have a formal agreement in place to establish that relationship.

If Baez hired DC he is covered for things he learned during the time of employment. ie... he cannot be asked if Casey told him where the body was during his jailhouse visit. But he can be questioned. JH never worked for Baez so he is a third party. He can be asked what DC told him.

Haven't caught up totally with this thread, but Holt is a small community in the Florida panhandle outside of Pensacola, near Crestview, Florida. Sorry if this info is not relevant...still catching up here.

I AGREE ,I really believe some how some way KC and loverboy are behind it.
Making the parents look to be the biggest liars in the world.
If the parents are despised will someone on the jury feel poor KC ,what must have her childhood been like? Who gains the most if KC gets off the one who holds the movie deal in his hand . Baez has KC power of attorney .

Maybe we need to go over these conversations with headphones. What else has she said?

I have a hearing loss, so I use BOSE headphones on my computer for all videos, etc. and here she does say "holt" very clearly.

Let me say this: my hearing loss is not total or anything, but so many of these videos have background noise and that is always my problem. BOSE is the best, and I cannot begin to explain the clarity, plus, there is no need to increase volume, I keep it very low actually.

I'm just wondering, skeptic that I am, if somehow on youtube the original was manipulated in any way. I'm going back to the original release of the tape and listen there. I will definitely report back, lol.

Bunny, you don't read carefully, you really don't. Did I say LE shouldn't investigate the tape? Did I say they shouldn't talk to Casey, or that they hadn't? Someone made the comment that he was trying to flee the interview and had made himself unavailable for days after this tape was hawked by Hoover. It should be obvious to reasonable people that if police had thought it imperative that they talk to Casey, they would have made arrangements to do so. It wasn't imperative that they talk to Hoover OR Casey, because arrangements weren't made until last week to even view the tape.

Now we've seen the tape or most of what was to be seen, and the tape is worthless as evidence of anything - it isn't helpful to the prosecution and it isn't helpful to the defense. It doesn't move the case further along, it doesn't clarify anything and the only thing it does do is prove that Hoover lives in a dreamworld or is a major fleecer if he thinks he can get 200K for this tape. Do you know why? Because the tape doesn't show anything.

It doesn't matter how carefully I read, I will never agree with you that the tape is "worthless as evidence of anything". You may as well give up with me, I won't be coming around to your way of thinking!
