It is so obvious to me that TN is doing everything in her power to find Haleigh. To insinuate she is doing the media thing to take focus off of RC or for money is ridiculous IMO. She is in so much pain, looks like she barely has the energy to go on. RC has lost so much weight and you can see the pain on his face as well, I don't believe dollar signs are in his eyes either or that he is trying to repair his reputation, he is just trying to find his daughter. It is obvious the Cummings family has not moved on as some have suggested, they are trying to make things happen that will bring Haleigh home. I find this to be a very good thing.

ITA, they look so exhausted and stressed, I really feel for them, all they want is their little girl back, national media is a great step, I believe she may be in another state, and just keep hoping that with her in national media they will get a lead to bring her home to them. I am really glad they have help from MN

I can't imagine that throwing Misty out would help anything, other than guarantee that she would sever ties with the family and they would lose all chance of hearing something useful that could lead to Haleigh. IMO, that would be a very stupid move on their part.
- We don't know if they have talked to Misty and asked questions and gotten information but don't want to or can't make this public.
- We don't know if TN or other family members have talked to LE recently.
- We don't know how LE may have asked them to handle this situation.

Sounds to me like there is recent effort on many fronts to get Misty to talk with LE and get this case moving again. I understand everyone's frustration, but we need to be patient. IMO, things are starting to happen.

Before TES asks for money from the public...where would you suggest he search? At what corner of the state or states should he start...this is ridiculous. Search requires a logical place to look. Besides TN didn't call him, she called a media savvy attorney who could answer questions in such a way that one does not trip up.

This is the same thing that happened with Caylee. The GM went on a media blitz denying and deflecting for her daughter the entire time. There was no where to look basically because CA wasn't talking. Waste of time and money. He ran out of money x2 in that one. He knew it was fruitless because he needed help from the one who knew where they could look....and he said that, after the fact.

It has been six months....this is a tiny girl...the same size as Caylee. TES needs to know where to look...specifically.

I agree.. throwing Misty out would be the LAST thing they need to do. If that happened, she would never talk or tell the truth. I think people are forgetting that even though they're living with Ron's grandma, Misty is his wife. Gma can't throw her out without throwing Ron and Jr. out too... IF he cares about his wife, that is. I don't think he would allow it.
If LE wanted to, they could pick her up and take her down to their offices and question her, with her lawyer right beside her. It's done all the time. For some reason, they are holding back. Can't figure that one out.

Maybe the family has realized listening to LE's advice and staying out of the media has not helped bring Haleigh home, so they are now speaking out. I just cannot find anything bad about seeking help from someone who can assist in getting Haleighs name out there, can assist in working with LE if necessary, and offer the family support.

People criticize them for listening to LE and not talking to the media, can't even count the number of times I have read post saying - if that were my child I wouldnt care what LE said I would be out there screaming her name from the roof tops - well now they are and people are criticizing them for doing it.

My post right above this one is not to point a finger, it is to address the logic misused by some to suggest that the hemming and hawing of TN and AS were a result of abiding by LE's edict to not say anything. It does not compute to suggest that is why they said very little on air, when in fact, it was TN who retained the services of a media relations defense attorney in order to address the .....er, media.

I am glad to see Haleigh's face and story out there again even if they are going against what is recommended by LE, imo. They may as well pull out all the stops now, imo. The way I see it...Teresa got the ball rolling again. Bravo!!

Ronald got her name out there by getting arrested for felony assault/burglary.

Crystal had the Haleigh's Closet drive.

This is my concern as well about the upcoming search for HaLeigh and I heard the Sherrif say their dept has not been asked, at this point anyway, to assist in the search. IMO their records from the previous searches could be extremely helpful. Would Tim Miller be able to access these reports?

Competition for what? Ron,Jr would be not taken away if Misty wasn't there, he had custody of him since he was a baby and there was no Misty around. What is to come to light? He's not a suspect and was cleared by DCF also.

Cajun, ahem, I'm not going to explain the subtlety of what appears to be a very close mother/son relationship. (most sons don't have their mother's name on their chest) And, IF Misty were cast aside and there was no longer a family unit
with Ron's activities of late coming to light, there is reason to think that Jr. could be removed. And I would caution you to be very careful in your assumption that Ron is cleared by LE. DCF has been proven to be a joke. Jr is in danger now and should be removed.

Mark Nejame never mentioned using any of the money the Cummings have collected..

He stated that TES relied on donations in order to do the work they do and that donations are slower than usual at this time due to the recession.

TN doesn't have any say on who her mother allows to live in HER house, Debs. Gma is not senile. Old, maybe, but still functioning. I said Gma can't throw Misty out of her house, she's Ron's wife. I said nothing about TN.
Do you think throwing Misty out on the street would make her suddenly start talking? I don't... she would clam up even more... maybe take off for parts unknown and nobody would ever find her again.
For all you or I know, they believe Misty has told the truth, or as much as she is able to. And we can't do much about that, now can we?

I would offer no suuport or succor whatsoever to the teenager that is holding up the investigation into finding my Grandchild. No matter who would encourage me to do it, or why...I could not stomach rewarding that kind of behavior. I could not even stand to look at her, were I in TN's, RC and GGm position. The fact that they not only can stomach looking at her, but that they feed, shelter, clothe, protect and support her at every turn and possibly even sleep with her, tells me that they are benefiting from it in some way. How does that benefit them?
