I bet they'd rather have a full English!

I was only in England for 8 days, but those breakfasts were addicting, especially the tomatoes and well, everything else. So good.

Much of the focus has been on food, what the boys want/can eat right now, and what y'all are having to celebrate. Stir fried pork w/basil ... pecan pie ... bread and chocolate ... all sound yummy. But as a tribute to their rescue I'm going to try to make some congee, because it's what they're all allowed for now. I've never made this before ... I've never even had it. But it seems apropos, for a very late breakfast. :)

Tell us how it goes. I've had my oat porridge today, as every day.

I read the volunteers are cooking the chicken dish for the rescuers that the boys wanted.

After 10 Days Trapped in a Cave in Thailand, a Difficult Rescue Lies Ahead

A small portion of the heroes that were involved in this rescue. My mind can't comprehend all that helped and played an important role in find these stranded, caring for them, keeping them alive, rescuing from the caves, and continuing the medical care at the hospital! Remarkable accomplishment!

Manchester United invited the team and their rescuers to Old Trafford while Portugal's Benfica club invited them to spend a week at their training camp near Lisbon. Manchester City and England defender Kyle Walker asked on Twitter for an address to send the boys shirts.

FIFA invited the team to attend the World Cup final in Moscow on Sunday but the team cannot be there for medical reasons, world soccer's governing body FIFA said on Tuesday.

Reaction to the news dominated social media in the United States with the term "All 12" the top trending topic on Twitter. It even eclipsed reaction to the news of U.S. President Donald Trump's latest Supreme Court nominee, which was the eighth-ranked topic.

Messages, sketches and hashtags: Thai cave rescue dominates social media

It's fascinating as posters are getting to hear the news as they wake up around the world and check in . Good morning Pacific coast, Hawaii, Oz and Nz.

This is a most Glorious Day! A day that shows us with putting great minds together from around the world, working together for the same end result, we can all get along in harmony. This in itself is a miracle!

Another factor is the heavy monsoon rains held off and did not begin the downpour of endless rain the area is known for.

And above all, the person or deity we worship or honor had his hand in all this for this greatest of Miracles to occur.

We remember and honor Saman Kunan the former Thai SEAL diver who was killed when he ran out of air on his return trip of delivering air tanks to the survivors. A strong current swept him underwater and he could not recover.

To all of you, my friends and buddies here at WS, it has been a long journey with so many unknowns. I appreciate your support, words of comfort and assurance, the few light moments tossed in to break the seriousness. Each of you are unique with your own perspective and I love hearing the many angles we see from one subject. Love and Hugs

Did your vet suggest a diet of rice and boiled chicken? I mention this only as we all talked about it earlier for an easily digestible food, and for a pet on a soft diet, boiled chicken and rice is easy on the system.

My heart is with you during this scary time.

I mean to to add both posts in. Yups, I sucketh mightily. LOL

Best Wishes for your doggy. I have my 16 y.o. shepherd getting Hospice Care here. Anything she wants to eat and
round the clock spoiling.

Thank you SunVenus and enelram.

Yes he gets rice and chicken, it's anyway very common here to feed this to dogs.

But he's not doing well, he had another seizure just now. :(

The vets here are not very good at properly diagnosing illnesses ...

enelram, sorry to hear about your hospice dog. Yes spoil him, great he still enjoys the treats! :)
