An ambulance has just left the caves, but it is not yet clear whether the nineth teenager has been rescued, AFP reported.

Not sure what that means exactly.

I did see an ambulance leave 15 minutes or so ago.

It's now coming up on 7pm AEST, so that means 4pm Thailand. On the first days, we saw the first young man escorted out at 5:40pm Thai time, with the second 20 minutes after, then two more. Yesterday was earlier, right? The fifth boy? So may be any time now unless they did get a bit of a later start as some outlets reported today.

BREAKING UPDATE: Child number 9 is now out of the Tham Luang cave in Thailand after being trapped for more than two weeks have been rescued and are out of the cave.

The remaining trapped kids and their coach are to be rescued over the next few hours.
