So I just posted on FB that I was happy about the boys, and a friend in Australia replied to say the doctor is her colleague. She has just received a call to say he’s out!!

Sorry if we already knew this, I haven’t caught up.

Great news (and new to me). Thanks.

Just thinking about how long it will take to remove the equipment from the cave. I wonder if they'll wait until after the monsoon.

I saw that discussed by another cave rescue guy. He said normally the next step would be to remove all of the equipment, and then evacuate all the divers from the cave. But he thought in this case, they would probably just leave the equipment until the cave is safer to enter.

May the spirit-- of gods and man- be praised in this endeavour.

To all of you who have held tight and kept me sane over the past weeks: THANK YOU.

I've been friending oodles of you over the past bit o' days. I hope you all do the same-- not just me, but anyone who has buoyed your spirits, or who has given verifiable news or support of any sort, who give aide and comfort in the face of fear, who celebrate the spirit of survival!

A worldwide network makes a difference.
I am honoured to know you all, and happy to hear your hearts.

We all now know what is exceptional-- let us now expect the best! In all!

I feel it is a better world for me and others knowing that all these helpers exist!!! Risking their lives, businesses, fields....love to them all!

I need to take my kitty foster family to the vet now. Mama and her 3 kittens need shots. They'll be up for adoption soon!

This has been a wonderful thread, too! <3 Love is in the air!!!

Sheer joy here . . . I'm in love with the people from Thailand and most especially, most especially those precious 12 boys and their remarkable coach. What a beautiful, beautiful, beautiful ending. Godspeed my little brothers. Much love coming your way from my heart in Dallas, Tx.

I knew this ending was coming all along!
And I feel ya, Sista! All the way here to Japan!

If it was the US, there would be lawyers waiting there, too.

One of which who wants to sue the mountain!

All twelve Thai boys and their coach were rescued by 1850pm this evening. @mthai news agency reported three Thai NavySEALS and medic that had stayed with the boy came out 20 minutes later at 1910. These people are heroes.

Thai King acknowledged all volunteers few days ago.....

King says thanks to cave rescue teams

I hope a cash remuneration comes along with the verbal thanks. Many of these people took time out from their lives, and it cost them wages they could ill afford. Then there are the rice fields that need repair and the lost crops. It would be nice if there were a fund set up for the family of the Thai Seal.

I believe money says thank you in a very practical way.
