I think the documentary set up the divorce narrative. Meghan's interview set up the narrative that the British press was brutal and she feels stifled in the royal cage. Harry's interview discussed his mental health. Meghan will definitely go to L.A. I am not sure about Harry going to LA, I think he will stay in the UK but stay out of sight until Remembrance Day and the story will be he flew back from L.A. but if he goes it will be for the Oprah Apple tv filming. Meghan will get some pap walks in..Harry will return to the U.K. and Meghan will stay in L.A.
I feel for Harry. From 2012 - 2016, Harry went on Royal tours, performed numerous royal engagements, launched Invictus, went to the South Pole with Walking with the Wounded, and championed Sentebale and Well Child and HIV testing..and visited several countries for military training or ceremonies, charity fundraisers, and official royal duties. His popularity was at an all time high...and the crowds where ever he was went crazy. Yet he performed all his duties with 'royal' professionalism coated with Harry's charm and wit. In the last year, he has spent more time out of the public eye than since he was in school.
Harry has known his entire life that William was destined to be King and he was not. He has always known they were on different paths. William and Catherine were married in 2011, and by 2016, Harry was Uncle to George and Charlotte. Harry never appeared to be jealous of William, seemed to adore Kate and loved being an uncle.
While Diana's death has been an issue he has talked about for decades..obviously bothering him a great deal..he seemed to manage it well. Much better than he is now.
Harry's life is exactly the same now as it has been since he became old enough to perform royal duties. It is the same now as it was in 2012 when he started to win over the hearts of people worldwide. The only thing that has changed is now he is a husband and father..perhaps he is feeling Diana's absence more with those two changes. But Harry started to appear he was losing his way - his spark when he became engaged. Though up until this documentary, he almost always appeared as the old Harry when on solo engagements - dressed sharp, smiling and playful.
I am not a fan of Meghan's. I think she knew quite a bit about the royal family and Harry before she met him. I think after working on Suits and in the industry for years, attending galas and fashion shows in NY and reportedly having a BA in Communications..I think Meghan is very knowledgeable about the press and tabloids and what to say to portray a certain image. I think Sunshine Sachs was hired to raise her profile to return to the U.S. And I think everything she has done since she joined the royal family has been played for the U.S. audience cause it is obvious by her actions that she doesn't give a fig about the British.
For the record... my dislike of Meghan has everything to do with her character and actions..and absolutely nothing to do with her being bi-racial. I have a darker complexion than she does..without makeup.
IMO
