The Mirror reported earlier today how a charity was left stunned after gaining the royal nod on social media.
The Little Village charity that collects good quality clothes, toys and kit for kids aged under five for families in need was left "completely astounded" when it was mentioned by
Meghan Markle and
Prince Harry 's new
Instagram account.
After the royal mention, Little Village's Instagram followers shot up by 1,000 in just 24 hours after the post by the pregnant couple's account.

Think this is where Harry and Meghan are very aware they can be a force for good. This little charity is big news, now.
They are unique in that they represent two countries. And when they find their way, get their footing, find their collective identity, I think they’ll be great. They have more freedom than Will and Kate.
-Harry and Will, and with Kate have started some important campaigns, most recently opening up about the profound grief for Princess Di, their struggles, and the importance of mental health awareness, and care.
America is in love with the royal family. Yeah, I love all the pomp and circumstance, and fashion, but I’m seeing these two young princes come into their own in a very modern age. And it’s exciting. And their causes, their voices carry weight. Harry and Meghan’s Instagram allows them their own narrative. It’s the best publicity because it is their own.
The BRF is special in that it transcends leaders, and the tides that affect other countries. That’s a burden on the figureheads, but also a gift.
