Beats the option of disposing of a body in the middle of the day don't you think?
Not if you're taking it on your private plane to another location to bury it.

I'm more of the view that they were willing to sacrifice proper burial because they staged the ransom note, and have their own private burial, just the two of them, possibly at sea or involving a deep lake.
Her murder by garrote was staged to protect whoever initially harmed her, in case she was found. I think she was strangled before the garrote was applied - the white ring mark around her neck with no ligature present. The theory is still a work in progress for me.
It's a ridiculous scenario. My remaining child would be glued to my side, or in police custody. In fact, I would insist that the police take him to a safe location immediately. JR and PR had no fear that someone was going to target Burke b/c they knew there was no intruder. If someone had a kidnapped child and the potential of an intruder in the house, are you going to let your remaining child stay upstairs in a bedroom alone? I think the answer is obvious.
And preferred to break glass in a quiet neighborhood near midnight - that surely couldn't cause any disturbance.

Yes and yes. Those weren't fancy knots though, they look like some type of hitch not to me, e
Other half hitches or clove hitches I think a combo though but it's a serious of hitch knots overlayed....and yes this is a knot you would learn as an intermediate sailor. It's used to tie line around a pole.
They are going to send her to the bottom of the lake or ocean yet they put duct tape on her mouth? Not likely.
He kicked it with the toe of his shoe. How much noise do you think that would make?
Why are you doubting it? It was on the housekeepers repair list, as I've already posted.
And that was probably the only thing that stopped him from telling the police an intruder did it.
But it doesnt explain her death, some sort of death threat would have done that. Like "I murdered your daughter cause your aJohn. Victory!" That would make sense. A ransom note explains missing, but thats just temporary unless your plan is to remove her from the house, but then why "find" her later!?!? Its just not logical, especially given that a handwritten 3 page ransom note is so probably incriminating.
The language in the note explains why she was found dead, because Patsy and John did call friends and pretty much do everything the "kidnappers" told them not to do.
I find it best to doubt everything a Ramsey says. It's just that simple. Tell enough lies and that's what happens. And John has told more than enough ...
In a wealthy neighborhood with spread apart houses, at midnight when everyone else is asleep....breaking a back basement window is unlikely to alert anyone. Plus the sound could be muffled if your wrapped cloth around your hand before break it....though he likely used his foot, I'd guess. Also all the glass and thus sound would fall inside the house where it's less likely to be heard by neighbors asleep in their air conditioned houses.
what is the significance of the duct tape in that comparison?
Why bother with duct tape and garrottes if you are planning on making the body disappear?
Of course it doesn't make sense but it was an attempt to explain the dead body in the basement.Doesn't really make much sense because she was dead long before the note was found.

Police have been known to trawl lakes. Bodies do turn up.
Plus they were calling police to their home. They couldn't guarantee she wouldn't be found.
