The love stays...forever in our hearts
Couple of things about this blackjack...I have one so this bugs me.
1) It is true that it doesn't hold a charge well, especially for someone who uses it like Casey. I use mine a lot, but not even remotely like she does, and I sometimes don't make it to the end of the day before needing to recharge it. Because this is a known problem, AT&T/Cingular has been advising customers of this issue and giving them a free extra battery with the purchase of this phone since at least 1/07.
2) You could switch the sim card back and forth, but since the sim card for this phone is more advanced it wouldn't make the phone work as well as it is designed. At least that is what I was advised when I bought it and didn't want to have to input all my numbers and info again.
3) I would think that if Casey had a secret phone for her nefarious things and a regular phone for regular things she would use the blackjack on a regular basis. It looks more "professional" to go with her work lies (getting email on the phone, keeping her calendar, is a windows based platform, etc.) than a regular phone. I also think that if she were using one for secret things, she would get a second phone number or a throwaway with an anonymous number.
4) The issue about the memory is interesting. I was advised to buy more memory for the phone since it can be an mp3 player and camera, etc. so it needs a lot. However, we know that there is no phone number for Zanny stored on that phone b/c it would still show up on her records. I think this is another case of that grain of truth in her lies. She remembered this little tidbit from buying the phone in May and thought it might buy her some time. Ditto with holding a charge.
I don't know if she lost it or destroyed it b/c of pictures/recordings/video that are on it and she wasn't sure how to completely get rid of them any other way. It does have a "record" feature (like a tape recorder) that is pretty easy to bump accidentally on the side. I wish someone would find it.
