What about finger prints? Did LE comb the room for finger prints? This may be standard procedure in a case like this but I haven't heard anythng about it. EJs personal belongings for finger prints? If the hispanic guy was in the room I can see him picking up one of her pictures frames, maybe to get a closer look. Just a thought.

good idea, except, being in a motel room, I'm sure there are a gazillion fingerprints. But definately worth a shot.

Thanks Ives. That's why I mentioned her picture frames and her personal belongings. The hotel room would be a loss..finger prints everywhere.

Unless they happened to get a fork or spoon or knife or something he used before it was washed, but I'm afraid by the time they figured out which hotel she was at, they might have been washed.

They still might have been able to get trash from the dumpster that he touched.

Probably her personal items are the best bet.

I wish I knew if she ever said what her relationship to the HG was. Friend, lover, baby broker. It changes things depending on whether or not he was involved in helping her find somebody to give Gabe to, and whether or not he overheard anything.

I understand that there is probably no video footage of the HG in front/or at SigFlags.
Is there vidoe footage of the HG at the hotel parking lot?

If yes: why has his picture not been released?
If no: who reported seing Elizabeth w/ HG?

What am I missing here?

I keep reminding myself that in SA, there's a real possibility that with several different sightings of the HG, it is possible that HG may have been more than one person. And if he's one person, yes he could be an atty or a translator but he could also be a friend or former fellow foster child too. It would be helpful to see some pictures. I feel like this whole thing could blow wide open but is being controlled and that there is a reason for guarding the evidence prior to releasing all the info they have. (I'm guessing that LE may be trying to identify all the moving parts and especially to find G before they allow the story out). Me and my theories. I just can't stop trying to figure out what hasn"t been figured out yet. Driving myself crazy!!!

It could be more than one person, but the indications in the way he's being referred are that it's one person she was hanging around with that week.

I've had attorneys and translators, and I've never had pizza and sex in a cheap hotel with them. No matter how much I begged I'm thinking like you are - friend, former foster sibling, acquaintance, or maybe she met this guy at the library if that's where she was as she told her grandfather, or maybe there was no library visit and she was connecting with this guy, whether by plan or by coincidence.

I think you're right on the money. Even if they're not on the verge of finding Gabe, they have to take steps to protect him, protect the investigation, protect the family, and they just need time to finalize areas of the investigation by confirming certain things, tying things together, etc.

I think he's a really good lead. Even if he wasn't involved, he just might have important information - something EJ mentioned, an overheard phone conversation, knowledge of someone EJ met with, seeing a name or address written on a piece of paper, etc.

But, since he was seen with EJ and a couple in the parking lot, and since EJ told the FBI she gave Gabe to a couple in the parking lot, I can't help but suspect he's her connection.

Now, if we could just figure out who he might be. Let's look for bread crumbs we can follow. How can we find people Elizabeth knew who might be this guy, or might be connected to this guy?

(Note that we have to be sure not to invade the privacy of innocent people per the Threadiquette thread.)

Ok We need to find this hispanic male that was seen with Elizabeth....Thinking outside the box ...
If she was seen in the suv before the couple arrived.... then its possible Gabriel was in the suv also.... Has DNA or fingerprints been checked on the car seat.... maybe he touched it and left fingerprints, dna, etc...

Also if he was inside her hotel room....what could he have touched and left prints on......something that she may have had with her in Miami..... her phone, her hairbrush, any loose hairs on her clothing or his hairs on Gabriels Car seat....

What prints were on the portable crib and Gabriels hospital band....

Can anyone think of things He might have touched....

I should have continue to read,,,, the same thought was running thru my mind also... just added Gabriels car seat to your list....and fiber and hair transfer from his car onto the car seat IF Gabriel was also in the SUV....

Everything you touch and everywhere you go...its been said that you leave a little part of you behind....Dna, Hair, prints, if we can just find something that has his DNA and prints then if hes in the data base...

If the HG helped in any way to facilitate an adoption and the hotel is known to be a stopping place for young bio-moms to surrender their children for adoption, does anyone at the hotel know him or know of him or have they seen him before? It seems like that might be a possibility. If he was a local guy who was hired as a translator, it doesn't seem like EJ wouldneed to ride with him to anywhere. I would think she could just meet wherever required and I wouldn't think a translator would think it was normal to drive his client around.
