Kiss...the article and the video version state 2 different things. In the video it doesn't say "First Night"...It says " In the company of another MAN the MOMENT she arrived in SA". I know these are all reporters, as we have heard nothing specific from Mr. Gilbert. So certainly reporters do make mistake, unintentional.

Okay. I'll see if I can get any clarification from the family on whether they arrived together or how soon after her arrival they hooked up. You're right that it makes a big difference if they drove together or if they met there.

I wonder how long they were there, and if it was long enough for EJ to have made friends. In my mind they were there for a short time, but I don't know the accurate length. I thought I saw a while back that's where they conceived Gabriel...was he born there or in AZ?

Geezz...Kiss..I'm sure where he was born has been covered somewhere along these threads, but I honestly don't now....I would be interested in how long they were in Ft.Smith for sure!

I saw the KPHO video where Ken said the first night. That got me thinking it was pre-arranged when she was in Tempe, and she met him in SA. But I hadn't seen the article where Ken says the first minute. Anyone have a link?

BBM: I think it was prearranged in Tempe and she met him in SA, but when did she prearrange it? On 12/9/09 when she knew for sure LM was not going to sign off on any papers and she went to his workplace and tore up the place. This is also the day she stopped taking her meds, gives Gabe to the Smiths and gets arrested per the calendar. She had one busy day on 12/09 and had to have been very PO'd. I'm thinking on 12/09/09 late in the evening or 12/10/09 is when the wheels went into motion. She starts with the craiglist ads on the 10th. I would have to guess she made contact with someone late on the 9th or the 10th. The other thing that is in the back of my mind and is not clear to me, is that (I read it somewhere maybe here) EJ talked about a couple in Texas wanting Gabe, but I do not know when she did that or if this is fact. I will see if I can find it.

ETA: I think EJ's plan was solidified by 12/15/09 when she asked her grandfather for the car. She knew where she was going but now needed the transportation.

BBM: I'm leaning towards Craigslist where she found him, but I also thought she could have looked up a crisis center on line and someone either posting or counseling could have hooked her up. She had to have talked to someone using a phone and if it was not hers who's phone did she use? TPS? There is also the MS connection to think about and when I say this I am not trying to implicate anyone but why would the trailer landlord sell the trailer in the mist of LM going to SA? (I could not find a record of EJ or LM ever owning the trailer, unless I missed something out there)

She was seen in Ozona which is 3 hrs away from SA on the 18th. Why did it take her until the 21st to make a 3 hour drive? I think she could of met HG somewhere in between Ozona and SA. Maybe Kerrville.

That's a good point NDRaised! I've never thought of that as a possibility. He could of posed as Logan but big blue eyed, light hair/skin Gabriel doesn't look half hispanic but as someone mentioned before maybe he wasn't hispanic-just dark hair/eyes.

well, I am sure they are keeping the description of the "male companion" tight to the vest for a reason. I guess they want to make sure they have a clear and vaild verification on the male. Would be nice to know tho.

Private investigator Ken Gamble, who is working with the McQuearys in the search for Gabriel, said there is no evidence indicating that Johnson sold Gabriel in an underground adoption, but said there are indications she gave him to someone she entrusted who has the boy in hiding.

Private investigator Ken Gamble, who is working with the McQuearys in the search for Gabriel, said there is no evidence indicating that Johnson sold Gabriel in an underground adoption, but said there are indications she gave him to someone she entrusted who has the boy in hiding.

I was just thinking that very same question. HG could still be the middle man. The middle man between EJ and the person that she decided to hide Gabriel with or HG could be the very person she entrusted in. I see him as the middle man. It seems like they should be able to find HG. It seems like she knew him prior. Unless the person she entrusted in sent HG to pick Gabriel up but why wait all week? Maybe giving TS's plan a chance as plan A?
