Bumping this up because I got OT.

Why would EJ leave her GF car in SA, and board a bus? Why not leave with HG in his SUV, leaving the GF car some random place?
If EJ and HG were "together", I would think they would head off together...but it would seem they didn't. So, did HG make the actual exchange, handing off Gabriel? That way EJ wouldn't have a clue, and also why her story changes, because she doesn't know? Did he give Gabriel to the couple that was spotted with them? Or, did that not work out and he took Gabriel to family/friend?
Did he plan to meet up with EJ again, or did they say their goodbye's in SA?

ETA: She ain't giving him up because I think he knows exactly where Gabriel is or he has him, and then LM wins. She hates that the gig is up, and she's facing an uncertain amount of time in jail, and it's so hard for her to bite that bullett....but if she gives up this control she has, then the time she faces will be meaningless...pointless....in her point of view. If she has to sit in jail, it's going to have to be worth it.

The thinking is that there was only one, but there is currently no way to confirm that.

- All descriptions are of a Hispanic male, but again, keep in mind that there's currently no ID and interview to confirm for sure.

- There have been efforts to try to determine whether Elizabeth had any companions during her drive from Tempe to San Antonio, but it has not been able to be determined either way (that she did or that she did not). It's just unknown.

So, all we're getting confirmation of, is that there was at least one male "companion" in SA...and we cannot be absolutely sure if this was the only one. If they can't ID him, then the witness(es) cannot affirm it's the same person.
But, the thinking is it's the same person....which is what we've all thought anyway.

Ok, so all we know is EJ may have been in the company of a male, possibly more than one and may or may not be Hispanic. He was probably driving an SUV, possibly a small one. Really? I know what I am about to say maybe old news...but I've been looking at the case cqalendar for about a hour now...and it's leading me to believe that EJ already had this move to SA long in place before she even filed her petition on the 14th. Even before TS confronted LM about signing papers. Why else would you sell stuff...I thought I saw where she had maybe an unemployment check she cashed, the rent check...unemployment checks, I think come in on certain days of the week depending on SS#. My daughters comes in on Wednesday's. Where did she cash them. Seems to me she already had plan B in place before Plan A could have come to frutation.

JMO. I think he really is Hispanic because multiple witnesses described him this way, correct? One person could of got it wrong but I don't know about multiple witnesses. Not that it matters though because we're talking about San Antonio here...one of the highest populations of Hispanics in the US! I don't think this is some master minded criminal. How could he just disappear without a trace? No video showing the license plate, no video of his face, no credit card or ATM use somewhere near where he was sighted, no finger prints, no drawings from the eye witnesses? Nada?? I'm hoping LE has some of this info and is just not releasing it. If they don't have any of this info then maybe he did know what he was doing and has done it before but why even be seen with EJ if that's the case? Starting to ramble, I'll leave it at that.

Good points...and then WHY the long time frame from when she goes to SA and left for FL. That time frame is still puzzling to me...

Definitely. She stormed into Logan's work on the 9th after giving Gabe to the Smiths. Her expectation at that point was that she could bully Logan into signing the adoption papers. It didn't work. She was arrested. She was in a snit by the next day, the 10th, when she knew it wasn't going to work, formed another plan, and started firing off Craigslist ads.

She may have already been thinking about that plan on or prior to the 9th, but thought she'd give a shot at bullying Logan into something 'easier' to effect before putting the plan into place. But the 10th is the day she definitely started to put her plan into place to boogie.

The petition on the 14th was another attempt to do something else, but she was already well on her way if it didn't work, as it didn't.

That could definitely have been part of her plans in that timeframe. They haven't found anything that indicates she didn't have a companion on the trip, so that's still wide open.

Like Kiss said before though, what about the black SUV? Was the SUV spotted later in the week? Maybe he did rent the SUV to leave on his own or with Gabriel or to just not be seen in EJ's grandfather's car. Or could the SUV belong to the couple they were seen with? :waitasec:

Maybe rented it to use in SA then drive back to Tempe area with. Or belonged to someone else - a friend or relative he knows there.

The SUV was seen more than once, but no dates available.

Ok handoff at the park; how does HG fit into this? If there was a handoff then he didn't take Gabriel. EJ was seen shopping alone the morning of the 27th. EJ wasn't seen with HG on the 26th at all. So was he already gone which in my opinion could mean he was part of the failed plan A/TS plan. TS sent HG to help EJ and also keep an eye on her. Plan A falls through, TS thnks EJ is coming back and HG leaves. EJ focuses on her plan B. I just think TayJay has $$$ and could of paid HG to watch over EJ. Maybe an employee of their business or even someone that helps around their home???

A new theory about HG per a 21 yr old friend. I'm a bit older so I thought why not ask someone around the age of EJ what she thought. I presented the whole case to her. She stated she knows someone who has a baby and divorced the father. She stated that this ex-friend just uses guys all of the time for money, food and basically anything she needs, even tires and car repairs. It is sometimes just one night stand or something may go on for a couple of days until she gets what she needs. She doesn't care if her baby is in the next room and will bring home a total stranger.

My friend stated EJ probably hooked up with one or maybe more than one guy on different days to get food or pay for the room she was staying in. She stated HG probably does not have a clue anyone is looking for him/them.

I don't know, I guess it could be a possibility.

Let me throw this out...what if HG is the SON of the couple...( or one part of the couple) and possibly attends college there. He's young, he and EJ could hang out, she felt comfortable with him.....if the couple weren't identified as Hispanic , doesn't mean this couldn't be an adoptive son...and he spoke with EJ about adoptions and maybe how great his life was....blah,blah...

I'm thinking it was EJ's plan to go to SA. She probably intended to go there, and maybe "hook-up" with HG as well (wether he be an old friend or a new one). Maybe he did go to college there, regreting dropping out of college herself and seeing this as a fresh start. We're unsure of the date she arrived, but she was in his company the moment she did. I wonder if she stayed with him at first, contacted the "underground" (read: domestic violence shelter), and they suggested the hotel she stayed at and helped her pay for it, and get diapers and formula for Gabriel. I think TS was frantically trying to get Gabriel back for herself, and when the time came, and EJ knew she was in trouble, TS scrambled again, and sent someone to get Gabriel so EJ could run.

my (adoptive) daughter has fire engine red hair..195 pds, 5 ft. 10...I am brunette 5 ft.1 weight ..nun ya..husband 5 ft. 11 weight, he says the scales are wrong...I'm saying adoptive possibly...to this day, everyone says our daughter looks just like my husband...must be the attitude cause it ain't the looks.....

How many witness were there in regards to HG and this couple?? On the case calendar it shows "five" different times. So are there 5 different witness's ?? Or maybe one, possible a person who worked at the hotel or possibly a security guard at the hotel ???
