So this whole attack happened in 62 seconds?

YUP!

Is this the same 62 seconds in which JA ran to the closet and high jumped to the top shelf to grab the gun and shot Travis?

It is indeed! An impossibility since we have photo evidence that his throat was already slashed by the end of that 62 seconds.

She is unbelievably calm when she utters the words "throat slit" or anything to do with it. I would be a nervous wreck just talking about something so horrific. That tells me she's a cold blooded murderer.

She could have come in this morning and read the motions before court too. If court starts at 10:30 that's plenty of time to come in, grab a coffee, chat with her workmates, and see if there's any motions to look over ..

Totally agreed!!! And I'm sorry, but if you have delays in starting or tech issues, you go later into the day to make up the time. Notice they never end late! You lost an hour and a half already - tack it on to the end of the freakin day!!!

The fact that this judge does not do this it incredible to me, it's disrespectful to the jury. She is are enabling this trial to be prolonged and I would like to know the reason she isn't working on it full time. Are these the hours NURMI requested FGS? Seriously, some of these jurors are probably not getting paid by their employer, it makes me angry.

Well, while we are in this recess, let me tell you all exactly what happened on that hot June 4th in Mesa......

JA has already decided to kill Travis before he took the shower, which is the reason she went there after all. In order to get close enough for her plan, she suggested taking some lurid pictures of him in the shower. Once Travis was in the shower she snapped a few pictures then dropped the camera, sprayed Travis in the eyes with the aerosol sun block containing 50% alcohol which blinded him. He was an easy target now for the stab to the chest/heart after which Travis staggered to the sink to wash out his eyes with JA stabbing him all the way there. Travis turns to try to fend her off and receives the defensive wounds, turns back to try to clear his eyes, coughs blood due to the chest wound, (splatter/spray behind the sink) JA panics because Travis has survived the attack (it appears to her) so she takes off down the hall. Travis follows her even though he is seriously injured, and collapses to his knees at the end of the hall. JA then seizes the opportunity to slash his throat, still in a panic because Travis didn't die fast enough she puts a bullet in his head to make sure.

This just my opinion after considering the evidence produced in court.

HOLY FREAKIN' WHOREDOM! More technical difficulties? The line of questioning was going really well ... She had to find the knife. Good stuff JM.

Awesome. The Sistine Chapel is more high tech than an AZ court room in a death penalty proceeding. :banghead:

RBBM:  Another Jodi "word" ... LOL :floorlaugh:

Adding to list :

-Contemporaneous
-Monogamous
-Edify
-De-edify

:waitasec: what did I miss ? please add ... lol !

:seeya:

If I owned or managed "On the Record", the company that makes the "technical system" used here, (I think anyway), I'd volunteer to have an employee on sight for this trial to make sure the system worked reliably.

I think so. She's either the Flash or she already had that gun and knife on her. I hope the jury can see this. NOBODY is THAT fast.

It's morbid but I made stabbing motions as fast as I could. With no movement, just stabbing the same place and without actually having to pull a knife from skin it took me 28 seconds and that's not stabbing all over a body front and back. This girl is crazy if she thinks her lie sounds credible.

She's body slammed, gets away, run down the hall, gets to the top of the closet, unholsters a gun, shoot him, he comes after her and she stabs him 28 times or so then slashes his throat and starts dragging him back in 62 seconds?

How amazing is it that the camera was able to give us an accurate time of what happened?!

I think it would take me a whole lot longer than 62 seconds to get up off the floor after being body slammed - even when I was 28.

wait... 1:15 Arizona time? That's 4:15ET. This is ridiculous!!!!

And we already know that Nurmi has required that 4:30 be the Drop dead end time each day, and that Jodi gets a good ole hot lunch :waitasec:
that only leaves 15 minures of trial for today :giggle:

Juan, This is so good. You are a genius. There goes her self defense, She had him down and wounded, She left and could have gone out and came back to stab him and slice his throat even in her own scenario...

COOKED.GOOSE.

BINGO! Her going BACK after getting the knife blows her self-defense case out the door as that is murder not self-defense. Jodi doesn't realize that, and he's a HAIR away from getting her to say it. Nurmi of course put a stop to that with his objection. And I must have missed where this magically appearing knife came from, or was that her fognesia?

This tech problem is ruining Juan's momentum. He had her cornered like the coward that she is. I hate that he has to stop and give her time to fabricate more explanations.

She ALMOST threw in a new scenario, that TA had the knife. Even she knew that was not going to fly.

I swear every time he gets her backed in really tight, something happens to give the killer/defendant a reprieve.

This has got to be sheer torture for these jurors!

I've sat on a jury twice and it is not easy on so many levels. It is such a sacrifice of time but more importantly, a tremendous expenditure of energy and emotions. Even after the trials are over, they start with you in your mind for so long.

For two months now, these people have completely given up any sense of a schedule or life, have surely missed lots of work and appointments, have had to see and hear things that are horrific and sickening, have been subjected to ridiculous sex stories, listened to an admitted killer lie lie lie all day long, have watched families cry and mourn, and every night when they go to bed are aware of the fact that they have to decide if another human being lives or dies. Regardless of how much we all hate Jodi, deciding somebody's life is the biggest and hardest decision that they will ever have to make.

So how does the court reward them for this.... REPEATED technical issues that I'm quite sure could be tested and addressed after hours, REPEATED delays that seem to be way beyond the norm, only hearing 2-3 hours of testimony a day dragging this trial out for months and months...

This judge needs to step up and make some changes for them ASAP. I would immediately insist that these technical issues be handled after hours once and for all, even if a technican needs to stay until midnight! And then I would change the court room schedule to 8am to 5pm every day, with lunch and a few 15 min breaks.

This is the very least that they can do for these people who are doing their part for society.

How about this one....

JM needs this photo :)
Thanks!!

My impression is that she is in semi-retirement mode. Maybe she's renovating at home or something .. but it comes across as laziness.

She is sticking to her story but realizing that M's argument of 62 seconds to shoot, stab and drag TA is not possible.

Running down the hallway and into the closet, closing the door, getting the gun up on a top shelf would have chewed up at least 45 seconds.

The new pope has performed his first miracle...

He healed Jodi's crooked finger!

:great:
I still see the bow in the second knuckle. IMO she cut the tendon to this finger when she was stabbing TA.

I have a pinky that looks just like that. But, if you ask the casual observer, they wouldn't notice.

JMO

Can't wait for Mr Martinez to say "29 stab wounds and a huge slit throat has to take more then 29 seconds" so deduct 29 seconds from the 62 seconds...that leaves 33 seconds for the closet chase etc.

JA is now crowned bionic Sociopathic murderer

I love when JM asks the court reporter to read back a question - I love it most when it's Mike, but love JM calling each court reporter by name. ......Okay, I just love JM.

I'll bet Jodi is thinking 'boy, I should have said he had the knife.... in the shower!"
Oh, I love Juan too! :blushing: And he's on fire today!

she is a psycho killer

a total natural born killer... not a killer cause she had an emotional meltdown, not a killer who just snapped and fired a gun...

not just jealous...

she murders with lizard like clarity... with a camera...with her own weapons...what seems like mania is controlled rage....she is not in mania...and if she is in a mania it's fueled by adrenaline...

I knew a kid once, he was fifteen or so...he believed he was a martian and expected all of his school friends to comply and not question. He had this flat affect and utmost belief and could lie in your face all day long. I always thought he could not be confronted or challenged without having a possible freak out.

I can't explain it...but it isn't "crazy" it's something else...It's almost like Jodi refuses to face, even now that the relationship she had in her head isn't the real relationship she had.

She better never get out...she is super dangerous...like rip your face off dangerous.

note...I re-posted this cause I wanted to see if you see what I see...

This is SPOT ON!!!!

I've watched trials and read about killers and crimes never solved, but THIS CHICK.....I seriously have had trouble sleeping quite a few nights since following this trial. She is a real life boogeyman that you best hope and pray never enters your life. In ANY way.
