It makes perfect sense to me. He's a red-blooded male and she waved something in his face he couldn't resist.

Look at all the times he got back together with her even after she slashed his tires (twice!), slashed his date's tires. Many months after he knew she was an obsessive stalker who got into his email and Facebook accounts, slipped into his bed or hid in his closet waiting for him to come home. Drove hundreds of miles to confront a girl he was dating; sent anonymous emails. And THAT was months after they broke up in the first place, for very good reasons.

Christmas 2007 - She slashes all four of his tires. The next day he buys four new tires. She slashes those.

January 2008 - She sends him sexy texts on January 8 and January 18.

March 2008 - TA and JA visit several states together, including Texas and Oklahoma.

April 2008 - Several weeks after JA moves back to Yreka, TA sends her the following texts:

April 20, 2008 - TA texts JA: "I am at a night club right now and it helped me to come to the conclusion that you are one of the prettiest girls on the planet."

April 21, 2008 - TA texts JA: "Send me a naughty picture."

May 10, 2008 - TA texts Arias: "Why don't you have him come and f--k you in the woods, I can only imagine you are so worried about me reading. You are paranoid because you have no respect for people privacy and you dare insult me of all people. Someone you should through your actions you hate more than love by denying me a human right of privacy countless times. You have a lot of freaking nerve. We are all not like you in that aspect."

Around the same date JA records a 40-minute phone call in which they both talk dirty and talk about fantasies of things they'd do to one another.
Read it here: http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1302/12/ijvm.01.html
Listen to it here: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/03/04/jodi-arias-trial-redirect_n_2808218.html#52_the-phone-sex-recording-graphic

May 26, 2008 - TA sends JA angry texts over something she has done, calls her evil and the worst thing that ever happened to him.

June 4, 2008 - While some go to great lengths to insist TA couldn't possibly have had a sexual encounter with JA that day, that she must have uploaded old photos onto his camera or taken the photos herself without TA's knowledge (viz Occam's Razor) I saw a comment the other night that, to me, hit the nail squarely on the head:

"And I am sorry for the morally superior here. You show me a guy who turns down sex from an attractive girl when she waves it in his face. Go ahead. I'll wait."

(Someone responded she knew a lot of guys that would, but they were all in Rome atm.)

Timeline above excerpted from the following article: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/12/31/jodi-arias-timeline_n_2387245.html

Great post and I couldn't agree more.

Whether it was by telling him she wanted to come clean about the incident he refers to in his text on 05/26 or by bringing him the check found in his office. Whatever the reason he let her inside the door.

Travis says something very telling on the May tape. Let's not go into detail, but just say he acknowledges how much he misses their sexual interactions. I don't believe TA was as sexually experienced as JA, she may even have been his first. But once the sex genie is out of that bottle, it's hard to go back.

IMO, JA did not have any kind of hold over TA. I do not think it was possible to blackmail TA. Not how the Mormon church is IMO.
Question for you in my ignorance, does Mormonism differ from state-state? Or region-region?

Are y'all watching HLN? Their guilty/not guilty poll was 97% think she's guilty ...

Have their mock jurors even watched the entire trial?

Psycho Killer: Jodi Arias' Kinky Death-Penalty Trial

By Ray Stern Thursday, Mar 14 2013

...If the televised trial were a CGI-animated movie, the short, middle-aged deputy Maricopa County attorney, wearing his typical gray suits, would be a badger...

..."It's a Hannibal Lecter-type of thing . . . It's ghosts and goblins," says longtime Phoenix defense attorney and former Arizona U.S. Attorney Mel McDonald, who's watched the case closely. "[Arias] has none of the outward appearance of the utterly indescribable actions she's perpetrated. I don't know that I've ever seen one quite like this."

Little Missie had some new stories today, didn't she? She said today that when she jumped up in the closet for the gun she grabbed it with her RIGHT hand. Previously, she testified that she did not know which hand she used to grab the gun. Today, she claims that Travis handled the gun in front of her and loaded it at one point and took it somewhere to do something but no details.

What she should have said is that she used her powers of levitation to float up to the shelf and then manifested the gun in her hand by applying the Law of Attraction.

Yeah, then she'd really let that mean Mr. Prosecutor man have it!

JM: "Ma'am, do you remember what you said 5 minutes ago?!"
JA: "When? 5 minutes ago yesterday or 5 minutes ago today. I don't know."
JM: "Ma'am, are you changing your testimony? Did you lie to us 5 minutes ago TODAY when you described how you reached for the gun?!"
JA: "I did not lie because you didn't specifically ask if I could levitate. You didn't ask me that question."

I don't know, but their mock jurors are just deciding whether she lied about the gun or not -- and they're still deliberating.

The poll was just an audience phone-in poll I believe.

The 3% holdout had to be Bryan Carr hitting redial over and over.

I will absolutely NOT watch these clowns.

Been watching HLN's After Dark for past forty minutes. All the talking heads competing for camera attention and it's so cheesy. Won't watch again. I sayed up to watch, thinking it might be a good show. To the HLN talking heads: uhm, JA will be convicted of murder one. You don't need a fake jury to figure this out. You should have had this show back in january. Too late now.

Discussion of whether TA ever bought ammunition for gun. Big reveal? Geez.
Of course not.

Okay. So now we have a missing gun, missing amo and a missing holster. Oh yes, and a possible missing knife that's not missing from Travis' home. Okay then.

I've worked a number of trials and one of my primary jobs was to type and update the direct and (especially) the cross-examination scripts. Now I always worked on the defense side, but I never saw an attorney go into court without a detailed "script" (that, in fact, read sort of like a play) of every question s/he intended to ask and what the witness would mostly likely answer based on what was said previously in depositions or interrogations.

I think that is what Mark is talking about in terms of organization.

Now maybe Menendez is taking an ad lib approach because he knows JA is lying and he believes the more he jumps around, the less she will be able to keep her lies straight. If Mark E. has considered this possibility, I haven't heard him speak of it.

This makes sense to me as well. Mr Martinez has to juggle facts all over the place to keep her off balance, meanwhile keeping it all organised in his mind, his script and his strategy. He has to finesse her. It's like the most delicate and complicated dance. It takes one hell of a nimble mind! The usual, in her case, does not apply. I think he's a genius at it in consideration of her extreme pathology. His aim is true, always.

I find him effective and that's all that matters. It really doesn't matter how he gets there. He exposes her to the jury. Just remarkable.

Is it true that the Maricopa Jail Inmates can get only two stations, Disney Channel and the Weather Channel?

Found HLN finally .. Now wish I hadn't.

HLN's mock jury unanimously decided Jodi was "guilty" of lying about the gun. Interesting.

Oh dear, that's cruel and unusual.
