So... just who is reliable in these cases??? Which news report and quote do you want to believe??? Should we rely on info from "inner circles", "exiled", "non-exiled", and/or WS member opinions??? Do we trust the words of boyfriends, pimps, and family members of the victims?? Do we trust books or novels written on the subject?? Podcasts??? Law enforcement??

And then theres "MORRIE". He did ANNOUNCE to his fellow members that they wont be hearing from those two sisters anymore. Amber was assaulted and thrown out of a car on the Southern State Pkwy. Is that what hes referring to? Or sometthing worse? It depends upon when it happened.

I didn't know we'd discussed LISK possibly being part of a male/prostitute duo (Maybe that was when I was moving house or doing some other RL thing).

Slightly OT but "snuff films" make me think of Roy Radin.

I have no idea if the info in Maury Terry's book "Ultimate Evil" has ever been confirmed, but it's all very "interesting" to say the least. (It's been years since I read the book but it reeeeallly scared me).

Melonie Haller's Lost Weekend (at Radin's mansion on Long Island, April 1980) is worth a read, too (link below).

Radin was murdered in 1983... so all of this is old news, but if you're curious just google "Roy Radin" AND "snuff films"

Maureen Brainard Barnes got involved in Craig list prostitution through enrolling in a Modeling Site called Model Mayhem

Sometime in 2006, she saw a you-can-be-a-model offer on the web and sent in pictures of herself; a friend she made in the process introduced her to escorting on Craigslist. Maureen started taking weekend trips into Manhattan, telling anyone who asked that she was going on modeling gig.

As soon as she enrolled on a site called ModelMayhem.com, she received dozens of e-mails from places that purported to be modeling agencies but that, after a few clicks, turned out to mean nude modeling and sometimes working as an escort. She wasn’t thrown by seeing this. What did surprise her was the money.

Within a few months, Ms. Brainard-Barnes was making up to $2,000 a day on trips to New York City. She posted ads on Craigslist and worked out of a hotel room in Midtown for short stretches and then returned home to care for her daughter.

I don't know of any serial killers who posed as photographers except like Rodney Alcala, I'm sure it's happened. Pretty sure that the "drifter's friend" or however he's connected THY is a photographer who i believe has a model mayhem profile and lives in California like the OP but he lives in LA county and Dark Magus apparently lives in El Cajon outside San Diego

THY he's the one who made the ectopic pregnancy videos on youtube with the chainsaw dismemberment thrown in and he was in the comments of the drifter book youtube fighting with some other <modsnip>. he's part of that Islip crew. I think if you look on zero's blog you can read about him
