Does anyone have a live stream link to HLN that they could share? TIA

There used to be one on ustream that moved to another similar website but I can't find them now.

Well, she did try to kill TA three times. I guess that would not count. If she goes free, she'll do it again....mark my word. jmo

If she goes free, she will get whacked....mark my word. (in fact I'm somewhat surprised someone hasn't smuggled a gun in the courtroom and capped her right there...yet)

On HLN the person that was on said he agrees with the ME and also said that with the bruises to his feet, ankles and legs he believes Travis was stomped and stepped on prior to dying during the struggle.

ok i am confused - did that ME say the gun shot was first or last???? - but the fact he said TA had bruises that looked like some one had stomped on him is just terrible

Thanks. I see they are now selling a piece of pottery she made. Wonder what is next.

How does she make pottery in jail? And if I were a tax payer in Mesa I'd be knocking on a lawmaker's door. Why are they paying for materials for prisoners to put items they made on ebay to sell for a big pricetag just because she happens to be the defendant in a highly publicized crime. Seems to me that money should have all been given back to the state since she is getting income from it. Her brother is just the broker. It's her artwork and she is the one who is having them put them on ebay so she and her family can benefit. That is just sick. jmo

Dr. Horn stated the gunshot was last because of a number of facts. jmo

Everybody is saying "mark my words". I'm going to need a separate notebook to mark all your words!

The one just now on HLN? He said last.

Many if not most defense attorneys use the prosecution's case with their cross to build their case. That would be pretty lame for them to defer an opportunity like that. But then again, there will be many many opportunities for appeal on ineffective counsel once Jodi is sentenced to death (not that I agree with them or they will be successful, just abundant). IMO

Do we know whether he was deposed previously?

This was made prior to her arrest.

I totally believe it. The only reason Napoleon was so well thought of is because he belonged to Travis. I am sure it would have changed if they had gotten together. Like KC anything that takes the interest from her watch out. It makes me wonder how she treated the little boy that belonged to the last love toy.

Lol, I don't know....Travis' good friend Katie Barnes on her blog (which was really touching and poignant...and funny!) said she did NOT like Napoleon but that Travis knew it and they were tight enough that he let it slide!

I just thought it was cute.......

Joseph Morgan on HLN going over the autopsy report said the wounds don't give a picture of self-defense, but of the killer being in a frenzy. It was overkill and that indicates a person in a frenzy to kill.

Plus I don't think defense is concerned about the sequence. I think their issue had something to do with Flores not telling the truth. That somehow Flores changed his testimony to agree with what the ME is saying now and not what he was told then. Flores said he misunderstood, not that he was changing his testimony. So the issue was not about the shot to the head. The issue was with Flores and his buddy, Martinez (as Attorney Numbi put it). I think defense was leaning towards conspiracy and misconduct to try and get her a new trial. And I'm sure Attorney Numbi is hoping she gets a new court appointed attorney so he can be released if the judge decides to go for a mistrial. It sounds personal. jmo

Good points.

I was wondering about the new revelation about the 9 mm + knives in the last rental car right before her arrest and was thinking maybe the PA did not want to bring that into evidence because it would show how LE could not even find a gun that was hidden in the car. It does seem to show a poor search of that vehicle since they did not find the 9mm until the rental company found it themselves.

I agree, but it could be something she made in the 7th grade.

Isn't there something like a wrongful death suit TA's family can file that the money goes to his estate? Didn't that happen with the Simpson case?

I don't feel like it's a good idea for the prosecution to ask M. Hall all this stuff about sex & getting excommunicated from the Mormon church.

yes after oj was found innocent, the families sued him for wrongful death - they wanted to make him testify in open court - and he was found guilty, but managed to avoid ever paying a dime, except where ron' family got leins and were able to confiscate some of oj's possesions

In fact they were the ones who solicited Travis was not temple worthy.

Good post, LC.

Now I gotta ask (probably been hashed to death); do y'all see her taking the stand? I mean, they're claiming self defense, right? Who better to tell what happened? So step by step she has to take us through what happened, right? How are they going to "stay away" from anything (granted, the order of operations is probably unimportant).?

I heard a TV pundit say the defense was going to have a hard time keeping Jodie OFF the stand because she LOVES the camera so much. For someone who was so eager to tell her stories to whoever would hold a camera in front of her---it will not look good to have her sit there tight lipped now. Unless the defense council says "since Jodi cannot open her mouth without lying, we will tell this story for her."

The defense goes on and on about how verbal abuse is abuse implying that TA only verbally abused her - yet all of a sudden she fears for her life. WTF???

I hope that lawyer is embarrassed (yeah right).

LOL. I think he is only trying to do his job and it has to be hard trying to keep all her lies straight. I can see him now interviewing her and right in the middle: "Oh, wait, wait. That's not what you told me 5 minutes ago." Not an easy job for him for sure.

I really am not the fashion police but I think if he wore more conservative ties he would look better. Those flashy ties draws attention to his chest area and makes him look more round chested than he probably is. The ties tend to be distracting but that could be the point.

Another thing that I watched last night, I think on Nancy Grace, there was a friend who had TA's suit on. He said Travis put his name on all his clothing so I'm thinking the shirt that had his name on it pictured on Jodi might have been his because we could not see what was written on the back. Is there proof he gave her that shirt or did she just put it on for the picture? jmo
