Perhaps it's just me and my pet theory that Jodi cleansed Travis' dead body just as he had baptized her live one,

but I found it striking that in the investigation papers, they mentioned that a small plastic glass unmarked by blood was found in the bloody bath/shower area and that Travis' neck and hands had been washed clean of the blood that had surely covered them previously.

I think that on some level, conscious or unconscious, Jodi believes that she is essentially innocent of slashing and slaughtering Travis because she was performing an almost ritualistic act.

just another thought here - but do we know if the KY was a warming one? You know how they have the yours and mine and the Intense kind?? It heats up with friction. That could be why he is red there...

The warming kind has an orange cap. So i've been told. :blushing:

What I found interesting is they rate certain sins over others.

Mimi mentioned that if one is having sex before marriage they can go to the Bishop and confess.

But she stressed if someone knew about abuse or murder the church would expect the person to come forward.

When she mentioned murder I bet the defense attorney hated that.

IMO

I find it interesting that sins are actually rated in the Mormon faith.

I think most everyone else does indeed rate sins differently, despite being taught they are all equal. I'm an atheist and I sure rank murder waaaay above premarital sex.

As in someone Jodi's age. She's certainly not coming up as being bright. She's just able to manipulate people because she has obviously had a lot of practice. I think the older jurors are less likely to buy into her self-defense theory. jmo

I also get the impression that she is able to manipulate when one on one but not so much in a group setting, such as a court room. jmo

I too was thinking similarly....

Think about her "holier than thou" John Doe email to TA's girlfriend....

And just as a side note, the LDS church has a practice of baptizing the dead, but I don't think that applies here since Travis had been baptized while alive...

If she does take the stand she'll be making a lot of eye contact with the male jurors.

Any thoughts about the camera strap? I think Jodi had it around her neck initially. What do you think? Did she pull it off? Where did it go?

I think it was brought out that the strap was still wrapped and with the box.

Last night there was a conversation about Travis doing the first load of the bed linens. It looks like one of his sheets or the duvet in that one photo of her dragging him. So she stayed long enough to do two loads?

I watched that Zachary movie last night and REALLY wish that I hadn't. It's one of the saddest and most heart breaking stories I've ever heard or seen. The system is broken... not just here in the US but everywhere! I will never understand the patience of those parents. My heart still breaks for them... their son and their grand baby. Saddest story EVER!!

The Bagby's got some legislation changed in CA because of that case. And yes it is without a doubt the most heartbreaking story I've ever heard. And exactly what our society would have in store if Jodi Arias was ever set free.

I think she will fit right in... and she will trive in prison. She is a master manipulator and in prison she will be at the top of her game. I couldnt believe the women holding up signs in the Arizona Reporters story the other night. Perhaps they were wanting their 20 seconds of fame.... but I'm sure that JA has everyone there twisted just enough to by her sob stories. People in jail aren't all the bright anyway... or they wouldnt be there in the first place. She already has her followers... I'll never understand the mentality it takes to follow a know psychotic killer. SMH

They are being held in a maximum security facility. Not exactly shoplifters. They don't think she has done anything wrong.....what does that tell you. jmo

I think those are smaller bottles (blue and purple)....

The pic I saw (with his manhood blurred out) the bottle was white w/ blue which I thought was the plain ol kind.

ETA - if anyone ever sees my google history I will be MORTIFIED!!!!!!!

hhhmmmm :waitasec: maybe thats just what happened to his body after sex?? Everyones different, I know people whos cheeks flush and get bright red when hot, and others dont.... maybe something like that? I dunno :shurgs:

Stupid doesn't discriminate by age. IMO. If anything, I'd think the seniors would get it right.

I'm not saying the seniors could be stupid. But I do think the intelligence level on any jury will be highly variable.

What I mean, is elderly people often have short term memory issues. My father is highly intelligent with a PhD and is 81. And he demonstrates these kinds of things all the time now. Needing reminders about small things he forgets from time to time. That's all I meant.

Murder is by far the worst. You can never right that wrong.

PS - Premarital sex is not a sin at all - it's not even a crime.

I wonder if redness was due to a very recent hair removal session combined with whatever goo they used which might have resulted in very irritated looking parts?

I think it's far more simple. She doesn't have a conscience, she just doesn't care that she slaughtered him. In her mind, she deleted him and he deserved it.

I agree! And believe me the median age of those jurors is...I'd just say retired.

I think the juror questions, to me, are a sign of just getting confused in how this case got all laid out. But that's just how I take it.

You can put them in checked luggage

You'd leave more of a trail to follow by flying. You'd have to show ID and a ticket that match the ID. You'd have to show the ID in at least two places before boarding the plane and then take a cab? to someplace around Travis's house?

Jodi thought a rental car for use "around town" ,that she put over twenty eight hundred miles, would go unnoticed I guess. It would of been nice if there was a GPS to track her on her trip.

Is he the California guy? Anyone sleuth him yet?

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wasn't Travis scheduled to be on the conference call with him the evening of his murder? I believe someone said that was why he had to shower so he could get ready for that call. He may have been in charge of the Cancun trip somehow.

I am afraid JA has no shame, Katie. Nor much of any other human emotion. :furious:

Agree completely. Who I'm throwing the Shame on though is the abuse expert who created a program called "Alternatives to Violence" and who is having the nerve to walk in this courtroom and claim Jodi "had no choice" but to slaughter an unarmed, naked man, with multiple weapons in multiple ways. :furious: God how I'd love to hear Martinez bring that up...that irony. "Do you really believe Jodi Arias had no alternative to that level of violence? Is this a case you'd teach in your Alternatives To Violence program as a viable option to deal with an 'abusive' situation?". grrrr

In my experience, young people have lost the ability to connect dots and think for themselves. They are trained to be sheep. When they do try and think for themselves they seem to believe they are smarter or equal to the experts. Im not just talking about trials. Maybe it was all that....everyone gets a trophy... Nonsense? I dunno.

Seniors may forget, but they seem to have a whole lot of common sense and are more than capable of seeing the forest through the trees.
