Just gonna say this - I think that calling JA the absolute worst names that can ever be bestowed upon a woman would be too good for her! She viciously slaughtered an innocent man in cold blood. We aren't supposed to call names here, so I won't say that Jodi is any of them. However, screaming all of them from the rooftop would be too good for her. We are talking about a monster here. There are some people who are upset that there are some of us here who do call names or make jokes about Jodi. I, for one, will not stop thinking that Jodi is the absolute bottom of the scummiest pond. It has absolutely NOTHING to do with how I feel about "women" in general. I judge each person on what they do in life and who they are. Jodi deserves nothing but scorn...and the death penalty.

That smirk when Lisa was talking about when she found out Travis was cheating on her with Jodi...I hope the jury saw that. She was pretty expressive today. She usually has that blank stare.

I was hoping someone would mention this again because I wanted to make a comment about it. I don't know what Jodi is smirking for--her life is over, she's in jail, she'll be going to prison for the rest of her life, she'll never have another boyfriend, she'll never have a family or children, and her life will be regimented and confined. The Brother and sister team who took the stand for the defense today. Those who proclaim to be "friends' of Travis. :hand: NO, no friends at all.

Daniel Freeman and Desiree Freeman (MOO) who made the trip with Travis and Jodi made a mess of that trip before it even began and they did it on purpose. I think there is much about these two we don't know.

First Desiree Free proved she was (MOO) a bold faced lier. She remembered things that was bad towards Travis and helped Jodi, she was very easily bringing answers for the defense but could not remember answers to simple things asked by the other side. This " I can't remember " just don't not fly with me and it didn't with Martinez either.

Daniel Freeman, continued to call Travis Cocky. In his entire time on the stand I got 1 and only 1 clear picture of this guy. Jealous. He saw all that Travis had. The house, the car, the "beautiful woman" who is proud of his religion but at the same time still worked and had so much while he is peddling through Canada knocking on doors. Daniel seemed bitter.

The guy went INTO JODI'S bag :furious: and removed items. Who does that? Picks up luggage and go through it removing items to be seen in front of others? That started an argument. An argument he then walked upstairs and injected himself into. Then that whole trip was a mess. I guarantee that whole trip was a mess becuase of those two. On purpose.

You see where I am going? Brother and sister tag teamed these two attempting to get Travis and Jodi to break up so that the sister could try to get her mits on Travis, and brother could get his mits on Jodi. That would put the sister into money and put the brother into a possible relationship with Jodi who again, he seems all too smitten over. MOO

I would not be surprised, becuase of these reasons, that it was these two who went around telling stories and talking about this trip. MOO

Travis is dead and these supposed "friends" are at his trial helping out the defense side a little too much, far too much. They were never true friends. They were there to get what they wanted. Travis for the sister, Jodi for the brother. Or at the very least, hurt Travis. MOO

They wear similar colors frequently, way too frequently to be chance. A lawyer on one of the shows stated they do it with their clients so the jury won't differentiate between the client and the lawyer. I don't remember who said it.

It wasn't only the picture, but first the picture shown was an autopsy photo of Travis' neck wound and it elicited loud gasps and sobs from the gallery, including TA's family. And it was also the question J.M. was asking, which was asking Lisa if based on everything she knows and all her experiences with Travis, if SHE thinks Travis deserved to have his neck slit from ear-to-ear. The defense objected on that question and I'm sure on the autopsy photo being shown to a witness who has no reason to be looking at an autopsy photo. The defense was absolutely correct to object. But Juan got his shock value in anyway and it took all of 2 seconds.

I've read many heart breaking accounts by friends and family members in following this case. One of the most gut-wrenching was a comment posted on facebook by Tanisha lamenting over supposed friends of Travis continuing to visit Jodi in jail. I think your post has a lot of merit in light of having read that. FWIW

Well stated. I thought they were both a bit squirrel-y as witnesses. Your theory sounds just about right.

I was going to skip over this and I'm sure I will immediately regret responding but I had to respond.

We absolutely have been discussing the horrible things this murderer did to Travis, and just about every other aspect of this story and crime. Sex is one of the central issues of this story. JA and her defense have chosen to make it a central theme.

They have chosen to paint Travis a sexual deviant. They have chosen to paint him as a verbal and sexual abuser who forced JA to play weird pedophile games - make her wear "little girl braids" and boy shorts, to engage in anal sex and phone sex, to talk dirty TO her, to make this poor innocent sweet girl a passive delicate sex object.

JA decided to portray Travis as a sexual monster, she decided to portray herself as a sexual victim. IMO and I believe in the opinion of others here though I won't speak for them, there is absolutely nothing wrong with a man or woman engaging in whatever kind of sexual activity he or she pleases.
Personally I don't give a damn if people swing, do same sex, bondage, ... so long as it's consensual - take pictures, use toys, tape yourself, whatever.

But JA and her defense team are choosing to portray her as an innocent virginal woman, not a strong sexual woman who was in control of her body and her life (like she was). They are blatantly lying, pretty much coming close to saying that he forced himself on her anally, when we hear that she did that before. She was an aggressor. I don't think the overall tone is " shaming" but outrage that this coward of a woman uses her extreme sexuality as a weapon as part of this man's slaughter and now in his death she is using sex again to play the victim.

I have no problem with her sleeping around, if that's what she was doing. More power to those who own their sexuality and individuality. I'm outraged at what she is doing with her "sexual role", his sexual role and I think there's a similar feeling on this board.

I am not offended in the least by what Jodi has been called. Just because she has the same anatomy as I do does not make me respect her or believe she should be given respect just because she is a woman. The truth is women can be trashy too.........as trashy and low down as any man and imo JA is that kind of women who tries to fool others by hiding behind her 'mask' and faux exterior.

I have seen more evidence to prove to me that Jodi Arias acts slutty and personally I think she has a sexual addition or she has just used her sexuality as a control mechanism for so long that she is addicted to the power that it has given her.

I sure have seen more evidence that Jodi willingly plays sex games than I have that Travis is a sexual deviant or an abuser. Thats for damn sure.

In fact I think the opposite has been shown. As I said earlier it is my opinion that SHE is the one with the perverted ideas ....even looking in windows when two people are together. What nice woman does that or any of the other things she has done?

We have four daughters but they would never want me taking up for the likes of Jodi Arias who they also believe is a sl*t who murdered a man in cold blood.

If the shoe fits then it must be worn, imo. And Jodi Arias wears these shoes. She spies.......she stalks........she invades..she uses every sex trick in the book to hook her targeted victim and when she loses her suffocating control she murders her victim visciously.

There isnt one thing to respect in Jodi Arias' character. She even sponges off of others even living with her elderly grandparents when she was close to 30.

The only thing I have in common with JA is she is a female and so am I and that is where it stops. I owe her no allegiance nor respect and she will never get it from me. This has nothing to do with our daughters and everything to do with Jodi Arias herself.

So, it was objected to on relevance? I realize what the pic was of, and the shock value Juan hoped to illicit.
I was just interested in the legal precedence.
It was my understanding that the jury reacting to evidence introduced was within Juan's purview.

Okay let's go in the wayback machine to 2008. Desiree was probably 13 or 14 years old at that time because she's in college now. You think she was trying to get with a 30 year old man? I don't doubt there was jealousy, and I wasn't impressed at all with her testimony and not remembering, but I had to comment on the 'motive' portion of your post because there is no way a 30 year old man was going to date someone who was 13 or 14 yrs old. Remember Travis was outspoken about wanting to get married and start a family because at 30 yrs old he already felt 'old.'

Also, how could Daniel possibly know that removing items from Jodi's backpack to make it lighter would elicit a fight between her and Travis? How would Daniel have known exactly what Jodi would say and then what Travis would say in return? I agree Daniel had no business touching her things, but he couldn't have forseen a fight breaking out between Travis and Jodi over that.
