I was convinced JA would testify today and play that sweet demure act of self defense. But after these "defense" witnesses, i am thinking Jodi will not testify at all. If she does, the jury will roast her, Juan Martinez won't have to!

I don't think there will be anyone to say Travis abused JA or any other woman/person for that matter.

The experts will argue that the woman was emotionally abused, in which case, JA will have to take the stand and tell/convince these 12 jurors how/when/how, she has zero credibility, I can't see this woman getting an acquittal or less than LWOP or DP... I am hoping it is the latter.

Their entire self-defense was supposed to be based on Travis being verbally (and sexually) abusive to her... yet all of the defense witnesses have debunked those false accusations.

These myths have been denied by DEFENSE witnesses that Travis did not verbally or physically abuse or demean JA, and further we've heard that JA herself was sexually experienced and aggressive before Travis - so he was not responsible for corrupting or pressuring her sexually.

From my understanding the defense was NOT accusing Travis of being physically abusive or intimidating towards JA, yet what did we just hear? All Nurmi had left to cling onto was "Tell me more about UFC" and "Did you ever see Travis hit a punching bag?" They have NOTHING. The only one left to make accusations is JA and she has zero credibility. She's got to testify and she's going to get FRIED by Juan. I can't wait.

ITA. Can you imagine the juror questions to Jodi, should she take the stand?!?! Wow.

Travis doesnt look happy at all in that picture. I know he doesnt smile in a lot of the pictures of him... but in this particular picture he appears unhappy.

I had never noticed that about Travis before until Mike Brooks said something about it last week. He mentioned that eyebrow thing he does in a lot of pics with his lips pursed, and said that was about as close to a smile as he had seen.

So I started looking and doggone if he wasn't right. It's hard to find a smiley one!

I wonder if he had braces as a kid. Sometimes you get in the habit of not showing your teeth even when they come off. :waitasec:

that's not true, i was taught to look in the eyes of person i'm talking to , but always felt self conscious to stare, even tho i have nothing to hide, it was hard for me, imagine how confused i am after basic training drill sargeant told me "dont eyeball me airman" i cant win!

They would have been better off putting one witness only on the stand and that is Jodi.

None of these other people have anything to add to her defence.

Last night on NG (I think) I believe it was Lisa Bloom or Stacy Honowitz who said that the defense attorney COULD NOT put Jodi on the stand because it would be suborning perjury. In other words, that attorney knows that Jodi is going to lie. (Also the reason Casey Anthony didn’t testify probably - but I digress). But they did say that if a defendant ABSOLUTELY INSISTS on testifying, the defense attorney will just put them up on the stand and let them talk, tell their story, but that the attorney will sit down and not ask any questions.

Boy howdy won’t THAT be fun if it happens?!!!!
