If he was on parole, he spent time in prison, not just jail. And yes, unless it was approved by his parole officer for him to travel to Fl., it would be a violation, if he was on parole. ETA: A search of Tennessee DOC does not show a J. Overstreet as ever being in the system. So unless it was a parole from another state, he was not on parole from Tenn.

Wouldn't it be more likely IF he was on parole it was out of Daytona Beach?

If he is on parole from the DOC in Fl. then it would not be a violation of his parole to be in Fl. :waitasec: It would be a violation for him to have left to go to Tenn. And according to the Tenn DOC he is not on parole in Tenn. from another state. So, I'm going to say, No, it would not be more likely. Why would you think he was on parole from Fl? ETA: He is/was also not on parole from Fl. according to the Florida DOC website.

What do you mean they have no proof that she is alive?

Haleigh was alive, and is still alive according to LE, what they need is proof that she is dead, dontcha think? If Law Enforcement has given a statement that says Haleigh is dead, please post it that would indeed be a bombshell.

To my knowledge LE has never once reported that she was deceased...
But the BOMBSHELL for me came when I heard Ron C state in his first plea that he would give his life to have his child's life back and that was proof enough for me that he knew she was deceased...JMO..

Also, IIRC last time I watched NG, she basically stated and reported TM and investigators close to the case believe she is deceased...JMO

I think LE is focusing very tightly on MC. rc will NEVER talk. They have profiled him and know what he is all about. They will get nothing from him and they know it.

I do not know if JO is on Parole from TN. I remember hearing something about him having to return for some legal reasona as he wasn't supposed to leave the state. Take it for what it's worth.

It is important but it is also important that RC denied him being at the MH and LE confrimed he was. It might be good to explore why rc would deny a fight, a gun or even that fact that he was in the MH.

Could it be that we are confusing JO as being on probation as opposed to parole? If JO is not found to have ever been in the prison system, it's likely he was on probation for whatever reason.

I think that if a person "has" to believe Haleigh is still alive, they look at other people so she will still be alive. KWIM? For those who can accept that she may be dead, they are more apt to look at Ron and Misty harder. It's like the Caylee alive threads........some people cannot even think about one of these kids being dead, until a body is found, and sadly .........that's not realistic. It's the same thing....those who had to believe Caylee was alive thought Casey was innocent.........because if Casey was guilty of anything, that meant Caylee was dead. I'm not saying this to be rude to anyone.......so please don't take it that way. It's just an observation.......

I have thought about it, but i think when all is said and done, and HaLeigh is found, i think everything is going to much much more simple that all of us thought. I really don't think there is going to be a whole lot of people involved. JMO

There are two things in this case that are just over the top for me.....the missing blanket Misty tries to explain away and the gun. I think they both play a part in this somehow.............I think Ron wanted to avoid the JO stuff because of the gun.

You mean the gun that Ronald denies owning, the one that someone else says JO stole, the one that Misty says she was talking to Ron on the phone while he directed her to the culvert where she could find the gun? That one? yeah. I think he wanted to avoid it, too.

Yep, that's the one. Now call me crazy but....when you go to that much trouble to distance yourself from a gun........chances are that gun did something! :waitasec:

SATSUMA, FL -- Family members of Ronald Cummings say he got into a fight with another man over a gun one day before his daughter disappeared.

A relative told First Coast News Cummings accused the other man of stealing a gun. The relative could not remember the name of the man or where the fight happened.

The relative said the man disappeared the next day and the gun was found in a ditch.

Well, actually....what that says is one day before Haleigh disappeared, Ron got into a fight, and the gun was found in the ditch the day AFTER Haleigh disappeared, the same day the relative disappeared.
