Marty "Johnny" Sheffield, i thought there was one at one time, don't know if it was pulled and moved somewhere else because I looked for it and couldn't find it, maybe someone else knows?

Where do you think the accident occurred then, I would really love to hear Emeralgem! If something happened to Haleigh anywhere else someone would have seen, heard, smelled, or talked about it since then. in my opinion.

Do you think that the person driving the bus on February 9th was not interviewed?? The bus driver would know in my opinion who picked Haleigh up, I believe that.

I would hope the bus driver was interviewed...To my knowledge none of us have a clue as to what the bus driver witnessed that afternoon. But witnesses have come forward and stated they have spoken with FDLE and that they told FDLE that Haleigh got into the van with Misty and she drove off in the opposite direction of the MH.

Also, IF I knew where the accident occurred I would have told LE the second I figured it out...Perhaps, IF and when we ever find out where Misty was going that afternoon with Haleigh in that van we may be closer to knowing just where it did happen...IIRC LE has stated they do not know what crime has been committed or where it happened...JMO

I think LE never really gave a lot of credence to the bus stop stories because they have a confirmed sighting of Haleigh after 4 pm, truly I do. Otherwise the conflicting stories at the bus stop would be a huge deal. In my opinion they don't care about the bus stop controversy because they have placed Haleigh somewhere else after 4 pm and knowing who picked her up is not going to answer the more important question of where is Haleigh now? I don't expect you to agree, I am just giving my take on the bus stop thing and I appreciate you caring enough to ask me.

The only sighting we've heard regarding Haleigh after she got home from school comes from GGS. We don't even have Tommy admitting he saw Haleigh when he was over there smoking with Misty while Misty states Haleigh was "trying to do wheelies" on her bike. That is hardly a confirmation, at least not for me. Given her penchant for CRA (covering ron's a..), I do take it with a grain of salt.

Don't know what you mean debs...Misty turned her phone back an at 3:15 after having it off all night and ignoring RC's phone calls that were pinging from PDM.....she (Misty)turns her phone back on at 3:15 and calls Timmy Croslin.....are you supposing that Misty was in Gainsville at the hospital with her mom that night?

Wow.....never thought of that holy cow.

I don't think Misty went to Gainsville, I think there way to many people (staff), at the hospital that would have said if she were there, also cameras all over the place. She couldn't get away this long, it would have came out by now.

I recall an investigator stating there may have been a mix-up with the nights concerning the girl who spoke with TM about seeing Misty out at a party on the 9th, but I haven't read that an investigator stated that the parents at the bus stop may have gotten the days confused...I do hope you find that link.
Now, I do recall JS stating he asked Ron why he was driving like a bat out of hell on that Monday morning of the 9th and Ron C told him it was because his daughter was missing...JS had to remind him that his daughter was not missing the morning he nearly plowed over the children waiting for the school bus...Apparently, Ron C got his dates mixed up....JMO

Who confirmed the sighting after 4:00pm? Only person I know of who has stated they saw Haleigh has been GGMS...I don't believe under the circumstances she can be referred to as a very reliable source...Personally, I think its high time she subject herself to the same LVA that she insisted that Misty take... Couldn't hurt if she is telling the truth...JMO

Also, IF LE has not given a lot of credence to what witness have come forth and stated about Misty picking up Haleigh at the bus stop, then I say shame on them...No wonder they have not accomplished finding out the mystery of what happened to Haleigh and brought to justice the person/s responsible.... IIRC... JS also stated FDLE told him he may have been one of the last four people to see Haleigh alive....Wonder who the other three are that they were referring to?JMO

You know, I've been following this case since the beginning like most of us. No one wants to think either parent had anything to do with this disappearance. I may not feel that either one should even be raising these kids, but I don't picture either one as intentionally causing the death of a child either.

That being said, I do however feel that RC could hold a grudge for a very long time. If he was REALLY upset at MC for the wild weekend and the argument earlier in the evening, what might he do to seek revenge? Is it possible that he worked a regular 8 hr shift, came home and found Haleigh alone sleeping? What if Misty took JR with her and ducked out for a few hours after Haleigh was asleep? Would his need for revenge let him take Haleigh to someone safe and then kill time until OT shift would have ended and act like he just got home? I find it very hard to believe he even took her back after a weekend with WBG--just from his comments from some of the locals on his racial remarks. Could he detest MC enough to try to get her arrested for kidnapping or killing a child--or at least make her sweat bullets? i don't know--but the thought has crossed my mind. I don't think he ever wanted to marry her--he was just keeping her there maybe hoping for her to be arrested. But, if she could be hidden away safely, where would she be? Who would he trust enough? Could the supposed fight with best friend Orlando be all a ruse? Any ideas?

(bbm) Agree. The other parents weren't in the least confused re the day they last saw Haleigh. But now, IIRC there was a good deal of confusion re exactly how and when RC said he injured his hand, and why he punched the door w his fist... :waitasec:

Exactly...if Haleigh got off the bus at approx. 3:30, left Hermit's Cove with Misty in the Croslin van, Ron goes after them and a violent physical incident occurs there is a long enough time frame for Haleigh to get injured, get back to the home on Green Lane, have Tommy and the ac man visit as stated and have Ron arrive at work by 5:00 pm as stated by his lawyer on NG.
Misty states Haleigh was playing at this time and riding her bike but we have no verification from Tommy or the ac man stating they saw Haleigh at that time. AS states she saw Haleigh later that evening when she brought clean laundry over.

Marie states in the partial transscript posted below that neighbors stated Haleigh and Jr. were seen outside playing around 5:00 which Misty stated, also. Were there young children living next to them in the home you could see from the side door of Haleigh's home or is Marie referring to Tommy's children, thinking they lived next door? They did live close, just not next door.

I mean, obviously, everybody -- we're curious about everybody tonight. Do you know anything, Marie, about any neighbors at all, people who live nearby that have shown any particular interest to this child at all, Marie, do you know?

GRIFFIS: The only thing we know about any neighbors is there were some kids that lived next door that Haleigh and Junior played with, and they were seen out playing in the yard around 5:00 o'clock yesterday -- or Monday evening. I guess it was Monday evening. I can't even remember anymore. The days are just running together now.

By reading the latest posts here and in the RC thread I think me, you and Kiki are pretty much on the same page. IMO, if Tommy or Joe were involved or know the details of what happened to Haleigh they would of cracked by now and this case would be solved. Also, if they were involved and the crime committed was a sexual act against Haleigh she would have been found by now. Victims of sexually driven crimes are usually discarded carelessly and easily found because the perp does not think about the latter, they just think about the crime itself and not how they will deal with the victim after so they panic and are careless in discarding the victims body.

I'd kind of like to know why the FBI hasn't been called in on this case. If Putnam County law enforcement gave credence to the siting in MA, that crosses state lines, so why not call in the FBI? That's as good excuse as any to call them in.

I'm not sure that I believe Haleigh is still alive, as it would be very difficult to hide a child this long with this amount of national coverage, but call in the FBI and use their resources. I mean, what in the Sam Hill are they waiting for? For all traces of this child to disappear forever?

I know we have all checked out TH site and read his new update. Cobra states LE knows that Haleigh was sleeping 4 inches away from Misty. I ask how would LE know HaLeigh was for sure 4inches away from Misty in that master bed. If HaLeigh had wet her own bed and crawled into bed with misty it would account for LE being able to determine that HaLeigh was in the master bed. I remember her tan shorts where on the floor next to the toddler bed. I wonder if they where also wet and removed by HaLeigh before she crawled into bed with Misty and Jr.

No we don't have Tommy saying he saw Haleigh on Feb 9, but do you know that Law Enforcement pulled him in and interviewed him or polygraphed him? For goodness sakes he just told them recently that he went over to the trailer that night and banged on the door. Law Enforcement said they just went went through the time line with him and who knows how they confirmed Tommy's statements or stories. But, they must have validated them to some extent because he is walking around free. jmo

Most important no-one knows what Junior told Law Enforcement. LE has never said that anyone is inconsistent but Misty, do you think if GGS fed them a line of bull that they would keep that a secret and investigate around her? Do you think that if the bus driver said heck no Ron Cummings did not pick his child up that day that Law Enforcement would keep that a secret and investigate around him? Do you think that if Ron Cummings didn't punch in to PDM and didn't have an alibi that Law Enforcement would keep that a secret and investigate around that? Do you think that if the AC man never saw Haleigh Cummings that day that that Law Enforcement would keep that a secret and investigate around it? Why would Law Enforcement bother telling the public that there was an AC Repairman there at all?

Ronald Cummings is not typical by any means. But there is no proof to offer that he has been involved in any way with drugs in 2 years. Does anyone have that? Why should I believe that Haleigh got into drugs by accident when there is no proof that RC was involved with drugs? Unless Haleigh was somewhere other than 202 green Lane that night, where drugs were present. Tyler Street perhaps?

And that ONE PERSON is Ronald Cummings' grandmother, and the time she gave is on a sliding scale. Emeralgem, have you listened to the Jerry S interviews over at Art H's website? In my opinion he can't remember his own story. He said he couldn't remember who RC was, then RC said "don't you remember me, you did my tattoo, my mom's tattoo, my wife's tattoo, note that RC wasn't married at that time. I mean, obviously you have your opinion and that is A-okay with me. I don't believe what JS says, his story doesn't match the story his wife tells and she admits that she wasn't at the bus stop in the morning of the 9th which is when JS claims RC almost ran him down.

Your last statement that JS gave....that FDLE said he might have been one of the last four people to see Haleigh alive, honestly. That would mean that no-one else was at the bus stop on the afternoon of February 9th to see Haleigh get off the bus. JS says his wife was there.....so that is 2 people, what about the bus driver, other parents, the AC man, GGS, am I supposed to believe that all those people are lying about that day and JS is the one telling the truth? I don't believe that, no. But we can just disagree and like I said I am fine with that. : )
