Lisa Stebic from Plainfield, Ill. another frustrating case where you just can't overlook the obvious.

But thank goodness the husband of the missing woman who took off from the church convention wasn't arrested ~ since she was just found very much alive in NY! I don't think Lisa did the same thing though but may be a reason LE is being cautious.

This thread is quiet, but that's not to say there aren't many hoping that the murderer of Michelle and her unborn baby will be arrested soon. I'm keeping the faith!

Hey DD, Strach & Sweetmop!
I'm a checkin' here everyday here too (and at that other site). I say a prayer every night asking for justice for Michelle and her unborn baby - adding if jy is the killer that he not get away with this.

Not burning up here Sweet. We've been cheated this year and have only had a total of about 2 solid weeks of great summer weather. Can't even plan for a barbeque! grrrrr.

Unlike Miss Jilly (the lucky one!), yes, I'm tired of this heat - but shouldn't really complain. We only hit the 100's this week. That is late for us.

I'm not sure what the cops are waiting on here. The sad thing is, I'm beginning to think there may never be an arrest. The sheriff won't release ANY information, which makes me think he doesn't have any.

Perhaps I am a bit convoluted but in my mind that fact that information is not forth coming from LE says to me that they are very confident they know who committed this crime. Given what we know, the perp is wondering the same - what does LE know ? He is walking on eggshells while pondering that question - I imagine he is not very comfortable. There will be an arrest, I have to believe it because somehow or another Michelle and her son's lives will not be in vain. Even Laci and Conner found a way to speak...

I understand the concern, I have my moments as well. I've noticed a few things by going back and looking at some of the old videos. If you are refering to Donnie Harrison, it seems early on there were things he was not aware of, in particular his discussions regarding the fax or whatever it is. I'm not picking at him but the possibility exists that he allows his investigators to do the job and he meets with them routinely for updates, which wouldn't necessarily make him privy to every single detail. I don't know how he could possibly be aware of every aspect of every crime that is currently under investigation within his department.

One thing I do think, Jy didn't leave any direct forensic evidence at the scene - not exactly due to his own cunning but more so to the fact he lived there - there are no ways to identify when fingerprints, DNA are exactly deposited. I think this is a problem and the hold up. Reasonable doubt potential. I suspect everyone from the sheriff to the DA wants a case to eliminate reasonable doubt. JMO
