I think the cat being out of the bag is bad for TN, because she can't get info out of Misty, but now that it is out in the open, maybe something will start to move in the right direction. My only fear is Misty is going to take off.

OK, I'll cut to the chase. I think TN has knowledge that Ron was involved in Haleigh's disappearance, and she wants to save him from prison, IMO. (a la Cindy Anthony)

And just how did he do this from work?! Did he send in someone to take her? Did he tell Misty to get rid of her? He was AT WORK.

Can I throw this out there,

Could it be possible that TM is also in on playing MC to get her to crack with LE waiting on the sidelines? Therefore seeming to be thown under the bus by the family. Since MC is not cooperating with LE then this may be the only way to get to the truth.

This is just a thought that is nagging at me.

I don't think she'd get far.She would need money and help.Nancy Grace and others would have her face blasted all over the place.
I'm more worried that something might happen to her,either to silence her or because she is staying silent.
ETA: Just remembered Trenton Duckett's mother.I so hope nothing like that would ever happen again.

If she is pretending to like Misty so that she can find out what happened to her grandchild...I don't see how it is much different than LE lying to people in order to gain a confession. I haven't seen Teresa lie like Crystal's family here. To me, there is a huge difference between the two.

Let's see... how about the stories early on about how great a mom Misty was, and that the kids love her so much, and would rather be with her than with their own mother, and that Misty was a better mother to them and took better care of them and on and on... does that qualify?
I haven't seen Crystal or Marie say that Chad was a better dad to Crystal's kids, or they loved him more and so on.... have you?
And if you're talking about the things they said about Ronald.... they could all be true, for all you know. Crystal and KP made allegations about child abuse, but she never said that she knew it was true, only that she thought it was. BIG difference. And the abuse he dealt her was the truth... you can't prove otherwise.
And FYI, LE does not always LIE to get a confession. They may have to use tricks sometimes, but it is for the greater good. Please do not be disrespectful to ALL LE, because there are some very good ones and most of them are above reproach.

I'm not sure I am ready to accept that, since it didn't come from LE, just from a "source."

quite honestly, I'm tired of the "Ron was at work" excuse. I think we need to only think a few moments to come up with at least 3 or 4 conceivable ways a child could die hours after an incident.

1. dry drowning
2. head injury
3. otc drug overdose
4. illegal drug overdose

If we thought longer than a few moments there are probably many many more. The fact he went into work that night does not in itself exonerate RC.

I believe Ron was at work during the hours in question, but I would like to hear an independent siting of Haleigh other than a family member because the timeline is very vague.

In my gut though I think Ron and Misty were at each others throat about her weekend activities and that Haleigh was home with Misty while Ron went to work. The very very early rumors said Ron had to go find her and bring her home so that he could go to work that Monday. The amount of anger he had with Misty during the 911 call also makes sense in this context.

Sorry RR I was just joking or making an attempt at it. I believe the pain med issue refers to a "certain someone" (down in the Satsuma area) who was hospitalized for an overdose...that's all I can say on the matter. I went overboard last night and am trying to be more careful with my words...it shouldn't last too long.

SS, you have read my theories so many times. LE does not know when the crime against Haleigh WAS committed. Ron could still directly be involved. This 'at work' thing doesn't exclude him from being culpable in this crime in the least.

The person may effectively drown without any sort of liquid. In cases of dry drowning in which the victim was immersed, very little fluid is aspirated into the lungs. The laryngospasm reflex essentially causes asphyxiation and neurogenic pulmonary edema (œdema).

Dry drowning can occur clinically, or due to illness or accident.
